I learned of them in '91-ish on MTV's late-night alternative show, "120 Minutes"... and I'm so glad I did!

Love the more forward drum sound on this, crisper and more solid than on the album - Simon Scott is a hugely underrated drummer imo

The most underrated band of all time.

I remember the first time I heard ‘Primal’ from this album. That’s a tune that could play as my body is committed to the earth. Devastating.

In my mind Slowdive is the best band ever. Watched them in Moscow 01.08.15. Mindblowing.

I actually downloaded the MBV album from You Tube using CC Clip Converter. Maybe the quality is not that good but at least I got it...I do like it, even if it doens't add "water to the windmill" as we quote in French...Hope U understand what I am supposed to mean...LOL

Pedro Almendra mbv doesn't really count as today's shoegaze because it's made by the classic godfathers of shoegaze. I was referring to new bands who try to make shoegaze but aren't very interesting.
