Yes Randy, i had to do all this in under an hour. I always enjoy flying the SUS. Too hot to fly on the weekend here but this week nice weather.

Noel luv your beach view the ultra stick did really well in the wind I have the eflite Ultra stick 1.1 and took it out on a maiden in 12-18mph winds and did really good too great video keep them coming enjoy them 😊👍👍

You are right about this being way underrated for under 200 dollars its my favorite airplane it flies so great I also use cameras on mine and it doesn't seem to mind the extra weight at all I also have aluminum landing gear and bush wheels on mine I fly from tall grass .Very nice views my friend as always you do a great job I enjoy your channel have a wonderful day. @Bellairvideo well I used the aluminum landing gear from the eflite valiant and a piece of aluminum for a top plate and clamed it over the aluminum fuselage with four small bolt nuts and lock washers it sure does take off and land on most terrain with ease I used large bush style tires I made a video about the aluminum landing gear and over 5000 views on my channel so I understand many have had problems with the original landing gear eflite says they upgraded new landing gear and a fuselage connector that comes with all current slow ultra sticks but I personally like the aluminum landing gear much better. Hi Jeff, I checked it today & all seems ‘locked’ in & ok. I think it was the strong cross wind as i think the winds were more like 26kph! I repaired the section of landing strut that snapped off ( carbon fibre) with a metal sleeve over each piece, so if it fails i will order a set of wheel struts

Thanks for your video. I'm currently in the process of mounting a camera on the Ultra stick, so your video helped me. I love the Ultra stick. So much I have a second Ultra still in the box, should the worst happen. Great plane for just fun, in spite of what the pundits say. I noticed you have a little vibration from the motor. Did you need or use any vibration dampening rubber mounts on your cameras? Thanks in advance.

G’day Lee, many thanks for your comments. Yes the SUS is a wonderful ‘go to’ aircraft indeed. It is such a stable one but if cameras are mounted on say the elevator. The platform as this & you can get some shake . The strong wind over the airfoil when going into it can also effect the camera. Have a look at one of the first flights I did. Certainly is a ugly aircraft but flys really well, did you manage to fix the vertical tail fin flutter?, well flown and good landings....jeff.
