I'm in my 60's and i teach at a high school. None of the teenage girls in my classes know anything but current pop, hip hop, and obscenity laced rap.. Sometimes I play rock videos on the smart board when they come in to class, but they think it's weird or ignore it..1960 through 1990 music doesn't exist as far as they're concerned. I weep for the future. You are so talented and like REAL music. Ballroom Blitz blew me away. Keep it up, Mia!

Ha! I am just a few years behind you and also teach high school. I play a lot of 70's music for them. They usually don't say much, but I've noticed that there aren't too many objections because I think deep down they realize just how good the music actually is to listen to. Now to be fair, I don't really do a lot of hard rock like this, but just this morning I was playing some Fleetwood Mac and The Eagles.

Anyone who would give a thumbs down to your performance, is clearly full of themself and obviously "JEALOUS!!!" I'd like to hear you rock the whole "Foghat/ Fool for the City" album , twice and then start over!!! 😁👍 In all seriousness though, "YOU ROCK 🎸!!!" 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

At 64 foghat was some of the best concerts of my youth. This has me digging out those old albums, yes I still have all of my vinyl the original releases not reprints and at least 3 turntables to play them on. Keep classic rock alive. Best drumming ever in sync to the original track.

One year later and this cover was still damn good! Great job.

Holy crap girl, you made that look easy! So calm and cool all the way to the end!! I've been playing for 44yrs and I'm impressed with your abilities. Great job, now I'm gonna check out your other videos.

Her confidence has improved so much it is evident in her music.

What people don't realize about drumming along to classic rock is that most old songs didn't follow a metronome, so there are tempo changes all over. So for you to stay in sync as the song slows down and speeds up is super impressive.

Holy crap!! Foghat higher this girl for your backup I've heard this song many times it's like listening to it in the studio she didn't miss a freaking beat. The girls got talent, somebody hire her. Mia you go baby!!

Foghat was one of my favorite of all times in the 70s I was like partying hearty I was sitting back just meddling out to the beat a joint one hand and a beer in the other lol keep On rockin in the Free world

Slow ride was my very first song I heard at my very first visit to a topless bar in Memphis circa 1975. That's the kinda stuff that stays in your brain. Kinda funny now, though!

One of the greatest rocks songs ever composed.

I just played this to the record and the drumming is 99.9% dead on. Incredible. The foot work is phenomenal and how you kept to the speed up at the end is magical. Great job. And thank you to Foghat, especially the drummer, mr Roger Earl, who I have air drummed this song since my youth. Even my dad liked it when I turned it up. Thank you,!

I can't help but check in; you're a very versatile player. I'm waiting for some pop punk, I don't think drumming gets more energetic than that XD it always gets me bounding off the walls.

Nailed it! Mia I really admire your utilization of minimal moving parts. Huge sound from from the 5 piece with the two cymbals and hats. That is true talent!

It appears to me that you could fix a grilled cheese sandwich while doing that. How on earth do you make that look so effortless? Fun to watch. I've been to dozens of concerts since the early 70's and I have always focused on the drummer's. It's where the real action is IMO.

Mia is "God's gift" to music!

This is the number 1 of my top 3 rock classics of all time, the second being "Sweet Emotion" I love the drums in these two songs. This young lady kills the drums in this song cover and makes it look effortlessly! Mia, if you read these, you need to do "Sweet Emotion"..and I'm sure you already know who song that song!

Holy Sh#t FOGHAT Rocks. Im a guitar playa and was thinkin bout playin this on my electronic kit. Maybe I shot too high. I forgot how badass the drums are in Foghat tunes cause i always think of em as guitar songs. Chic U R BADASS
