That's what's great about decluttering. It gives me the freedom of doing what I want to do instead of cleaning and maintaining the mess. It's easy for me to tidy up with less stuff around. 🥰

Love the pine cone flowers. That’s definitely a new idea for me. I am looking forward to seeing the wreath when you finish making it. Glad you had some quality R&R time because nothing beats it. Robin 1 - Lawnmower 0 Way to go Robin! Loved the latest recipes from ‘cooking with Robin and Karen’ series. That roasted pepper 🫑 sauce sounds very much to my taste. However, haddock chowder is a longtime favourite of mine and your recipe is so similar to one my mum used to make. It looked amazing. This week I’m living off salads, but I did lose two pounds this week so all good. I might cook a chowder when the weather gets cooler though because you’ve reminded me how super tasty they are.

Haddock is so delicious - I wish I coud find it in So Cal. Cod is a close dupe, but once you have eaten haddock, you know. . . Thanks for the recipe!

In the south we make pepper sauce to put on collard or turnip greens but it’s just peppers in vinegar usually jalapeños We also can buy it in the grocery store What you made looks delicious!

26:14 Karen, how do you keep your honey from becoming a grainy congealed mess?

  • @ThisMainerMom

To be honest it just doesn’t last that long! My friend is in the honey business and he says the grainy stage is it turning to sugar and still great to use!

You can put some water in a sauce pan and put the honey in the jar into the pan, reboil the honey until the graininess and cloudy is gone.
