This dish is good. To make it way beyond good, fry the fish afterwards.

No. They have edible eggs inside. It is the same fish that they use in italy. They just dredge them in season flour and into the deep fryer they go.

This is the very reason i HATE videos without talking. i'm not here to listen to a music track ....i want instruction and to learn from you! i shouldn't have to scroll through the comments to learn the details. Great hashtag #ilovemywife.

@@RyanBergunio - They also have guts full of fish crap. Disgusting. Wonder if your wife wouldn't appreciate your making an EFFORT to clean these. I don't dispute that SOME people in SOME places eat them just the way they are. Some people in some places do disgusting things all the time.

@@zalman7208 if you don't like it that way, move on. Where I come from (northern Canada) it is normal to eat them whole. Same with caplin. It isn't about EFFORT, it is about taste and tradition. We eat cod tongues, cod cheeks and the cod roe as well. A lot of people find that "disgusting" but we love it. So instead of crapping all over the way someone chooses to cook it and share it, choose to move onto a recipe that is more suitable to your own palate. I found this recipe quite interesting and a new take on a very common meal here. Normally, they are just fried in salt pork fat (scrunchins) but I wanted to see how someone else from a different place might cook them. To me, it looks amazing and I will try them this way.

@@Missuskeefe - Humans have, over thousands of years, accumulated a long history and tradition of cannibalism. That tradition still persists today in some quarters, but I have yet to hear anyone defending the exquisite taste of traditional cannibal fare. Tradition is not always admirable. Face it, you are proud of eating crap and think it’s wonderful. Maybe some corners of society have moved on from that. Maybe it’s time you also consider moving on.
