everyone has their own history. the castles in the west mostly served as protection from the Romans and Germans. castles in the south served as protection against Turkey and in the east mostly as protection against the Mongols. Each castle has its own history, but my favorite is Devin

I love Slovakia. Being there three times. High Tatras is beautiful and Nitra feels like home to me. I hope to go there again.

I've been to Slovakia couple of times and I really enjoyed every bit of my stay. The people are nice and the hospitality is great. Beautiful sights and scenes. Thinking of when to be there again. I miss all the wonderful friends and families.

@@ScenicRelaxationFilms We always go to Prešovský kraj (Prešov region) in the northeast. Love the High Tatras mountains ⛰️ , the folklore, the vistas, the culture, the people. This year we'll also be going to Žilinský kraj (Žilina region), we've rented a cottage there with a view on the Malá Fatra mountains. Can't wait! 🌞

Liked many castles must have had histories behind stories; this place has nobilities living just like other countries w/ royalties! Is there movies screened on public? Well, there are movies screened here. Now on top of my head I remember namely Dragon Heart(1996) ,as at least part of the movie is shooted here. Einon Castle exteriors are Castle of Strečno, Einon Castle catacombs are from Red Stone castle, and Avalon is Spiš castle with digitally added roof and sea around. Maybe there is also Devin castle at the begining, but I am not sure about that one.

Breathtaking video of my home country ♥️. The films you make are really extraordinary. You could at some time also explore the wildlife of Slovakia for example (and make a video). Bears, wolves, European bisons, bobcats, etc. all live in such a relatively small area :).

I visited Slovakia many times from 2007 til 2019 to visit my friend she lives in Trencin and studied inOlomus,apartment with a view to Trencin castle on a night watching rain, thunder and lightening was magical,it was my last holiday,i don`t think i`ll have any more,such a beautiful place,thank you,amazing photography.

@@ScenicRelaxationFilms I loved Trencin,so tranquill and clean,i spent a lot of time in Olomuc,but she would meet me in CZ at Prague airport and we did some sightseeing there,Ceske Krumlov,pardon my spelling,was a magical place,like stepping back in time,but both countries had that vibe,like being in the 50s or60s.

@@ScenicRelaxationFilms I meant to mention the trains!!,it was amazing,i spent so much time on them and loved it,in those little carriages where you can close the door and watch the beautiful scenery when its not busy,i would need her to tell me all the places we went as my grasp of the language was not good!!

I live in a town that has a history of more than a 1000 years since it was built :) I can tell you we do realize we are lucky, there is no country as unique as Slovakia 🏰 🤗

I agree. crime rates are almost the lowest in the world. beautiful nature, traditions and most importantly, Slovakia is the geographical center of Europe. from Slovakia it is easy to travel around Europe, everything is close.

I will bookmark this video to watch every time need to relax. The scenery is very beautiful (same with other Europe countries) but it also brings feeling melancholy. I do no know I can live alone if my relatives do not live there. It was lucky for Slovakia since this country was occupied by communists but the regime was changed later.
