This was a great project.
After two years of use I finally pulled the unit, opting for a more rudimentary conversion system. It worked great, with one exception; I couldn't race my Carrera Digital cars against true Analog cars. The electronics simply prevent the decoders in the box from working with the decoders in the cars to initiate auto switching between digital and analog.
For running traditional Evolution, or other analog vehicles, or if you pop the body off the car and bypass the decoder, it works fantastic.
