I love how the aesthetic of Slipknot progresses! In the beginning they were studs, colored hairs, etc. Now they are more minimalist and detailed without losing the essence of the band and selling themselves.

If you've ever seen a corpse, the old lady looks like one at the start of the video. I'm pretty sure it was intentional, since how she has her mouth and that look at nothing is pretty common for corpses. I don't have much first hand experience since I'm not a mortician, but I've read about it quite a bit

No, I don't think so... only pop is so mainstreamed that an album could be produced it such short time. In short, the lyrics alone are so real and meaningful in Slipknot, that an album within the next few years seem impossible... Then again, they are gods upon the earth, so it's not too far off... Maybe we'll get a quarantine single??

I recall Corey or Clown saying in interview last year that they recorded over 20 songs for WANYK and they plan on releasing all of them at some point. Maybe we will get a lucky surprise...

@@austinwiebe3801 They've been saying that every album cycle for since the early 2000s. That said, Jim did mention in an interview that he's been writing and demoing new Slipknot stuff like crazy since the lockdown, and he's been the driving force of the band over the last two albums. It's getting everyone else - particularly Corey - on the same page that seems to result in the lengthy silences between releases. But hey, he's not on Stone Sour mode either right now, so who knows... My bet is that Look Outside Your Window will be the next release we see from them, and it'll come soon. From the sounds of it, it was pretty much ready to go before the WANKY tour, they were just waiting for the right time to drop it. From both a business and a creative point of view, I'd say that time is coming soon given that it'd be a good way of propping up the *massive* momentum they built up prior to the world being cancelled. I can't see Shawn being the type of guy to just sit on his hands and wait, either.
