as much as I can appreciate slipknot nowadays, theres no argument on how superior the former base (that is, bass+drums) was. Joey was a star of his own, but the isolated bass here shows a whole new taste to the music.

yup, its actually a little bit different from Paul's DVD, but you can hear this is the studio version of the original track, and i guess its totally not a home made cover. Maybe the uploader got it from a guitar game like guitar hero :)

Well it comes to personal preference, so it sounds good to his ears but not yours... Joey used small drums, or at least a small snare, so he probably liked a little more brighter, tight drums and cymbals.
