Well I just finished my second week with my driver mentor last week Saturday out of Spring Valley Illinois. It has definitely been one hell of a ride! Rich I want to thank you for emailing me your pretrip study guide. It definitely helped me in studying for Walmart’s pretrip test during onboarding. But I actually report back on this Friday morning with a 10am start time. I’m put on a flex schedule. I placed my order with someone in the office to get my uniforms. However they didn’t really say how long it would take. But I’m just glad to say that it’s finally official and that I’m now a Walmart driver. Your videos and study guide has helped me in my preparation for this. So I would like to say thank you!!

Uniforms depend on the company. It can take any word from 2 to 6 weeks, depending on sizes. And what's in stock

@@WalmartRich that’s what my Mentor actually told me. So I’ll just wear my regular clothes till the uniforms come in. But thanks again!!! You rock Rich!!

So I didn't get to the onboarding because of a email telling me 26 months of driving I didn't meet the minimum requirements 30 months what do you think I should do go to work for 6 months and then try again? And the funny thing I would have been in Red bluff this week on boarding and they would have told me this this week I would have had to drive over 300 miles back home.😢 That's a good thing I rescheduled last week 😕

Hey Rich, what about the mattress? Can you use your own mattress if you take it out each time?

@Bbbddduuummm123 any time. You can leave your purchased mattress in truck, throw it up top, or take it out. I always threw mi e up top if I was gonna be gone. Never know who might lay on it

You can use the time you use to fuel , the wahbay, vacuum , and cleaning out the truck as Walmart Function? I had no idea … Things are still going very great here at Walmart !! Love it !! Thanks for the videos .

@@WalmartRich ok thanks . Yeah all this time I was in on duty when I performed my clean out duty’s ,but I didn’t know you can pay yourself for that under “ Walmart Function “ . 👍💪👍💪👍

I’m good, I’ll stay with my own truck untill I trade it in..Walmart is a joke it all depends on who you know if you get a job

@Hobo4Life yes they will be looked at after the referals. People without referal do get hired just further down the list. It's not a who you know job.

Do you know anything about the associate to driver program? I've applied twice

​@ml3truckinginc..816 Take your time with the pre-trip,driving, and backing. Watch the pre-trip video over and over again when you're doing pre-trip keep it moving don't try to name everything under the hood. You'll be fine it's not rocket science oh and watch the airbreak test too

Your distract in the driver while you’re sitting next to them making a video. If you ask any CDT they would not approve of that . 1:04

Ok then let me add. I'm on sleeper birth. We were pulling into a rest stop. My use of my phone is no more intrusive or distracting than if i was talking on the phone to a loved one. No rules were broken at the time of me doing what I did. Just so everyone is aware.
