That cutout is for the mmwave in US. Pixel phones have the receiver on the top for the mmwave.

Well my only US case Bellroy doesn't have this cut out, only other two that are imported from China do?

@@TheStlArts yeah many cases doesn't have that cutout not even the official Google ones. May be the Chinese manufacturers saw the receiver on top right and just added a cutout. If you remove the case and look at top right you will see as if there is a cutout like Sim tray there.

I like the color of the Bellroy, I also have the Fanoya, its like a hard case with soft cover

Same here, unfortunately did not find Fanoya in similar color made out of Alcantara. Found the plastic Fanoya in orange and honestly did not last long without chipping, scratching. I think I posted my first intimal review but never followed up with the orange case.

Thanks for review! I was happy with a pixel 5 using it without a case, but now I got a pixel 7 that I think it's better to look for a case 😅

Glad I could help! I loved my Pixel 5, traded in for Pixel 7. It truly is the best phone I had owned. Not the most expensive phone, but the one that I am very happy with. There are so many cases out there let me know what you get.

maybe the us version of the pixel 7 has the cutout for the 5g antenna i guess

4:00 the cutout is for the pixel 7s with the 5g millimeter wave. All 7 pros have a cutout, but only some base 7s have it.

I bought the official chalk color for my white snow color 7 pro and while it works, I have always preferred no case and the pixel 7 pro is way too slippery leaving me no choice but to put a case on it. I actually searched for one like that and didn't see one. Thanks for the link and for uploading your video content. Hope they make one in a frost white color too. Much appreciated. Happy holidays!

I had no issues with camera glass ( at least not yet). That being said I have word or two to say about actual screen glass. Working on that video as we speak.

@@TheStlArts Despite having issues, I still pre-ordered the Pixel 7. Fingers crossed that it wont happen to me. There is only one reported incident here in the Philippines that was posted on a Facebook group.

@@j.b.b.96 Oh will look into it. Congrats on new phone, its a great phone with some minor annoyances. I wish I had screen protector on mine. I never had on any of the phones and this is the first phone that I have mayor scratch on the screen. Have no idea how and when. Still glad I went with pixel 7 nevertheless.

Yes it has been great, dropped my phone numerous times and not a single scratch. This might be due to case or just durability of pixel 7 itself. So far so good even after dropping phone on the concrete.
