Isn't it fun to use up a bunch of retired dsp? I go crazy right before the end of the year to use up what I have while its still current so I make lots and lots of quick cards and its fun to see them pile up!
Beautiful card & yet so easy. Thank you sharing your talent.
Hey, from uk. Loving your videos and im sure its been mentioned before but the maths are wrong, half an inch shy on the 3 piece cut BUT as we all know, wther new to crafting or veteran anything can be changed and anything can 9/10 times work out. Cant wait to watch more of your videos, made my first ever cards with your video x

First time to drop by your site. Loved these Slim line card ideas using the awesome DSP that is this year. Did you make your own envelopes for the cards or purchase them somewhere? I subscribed because I loved your tutorial. Thank you.

Thank you so much Ellen! I know you can buy envelopes just for these cards now - but I either make my own - or most often I just use the regular business size business envelopes and add the dsp trim like I showed in this video at time stamp 30:55 - kzread.info/dash/bejne/m4d22bSfeLeclJc.html.
Great cards, love the one sheet wonder template. Will these fit in a business sized envelope? I wish SU sold slimline card size envelopes 😃

What size of an envelope do you use for slim line cards ?
@lindaholt2235
4 жыл бұрын
In the US, #10 also called Business envelope. I think the envelope is 9.25x3.75? Google business envelope at any store that sells office supplies and you will see the simplest way to send them. Some online craft stores are making "coin style" envelopes with a flap on the short side, and there are templates for that style envelope too.
@KarenTitus
4 жыл бұрын
just regular business envelopes - the long one. Thats what makes this so easy - and I forgot to add that and to show how you can just trim the narrow flap of the envelope with dsp too - so thanks for asking
What are you using for envelopes then?

@@KarenTitus really enjoy your card making. Thank you and Tim.
Hi Karen. I know you wanted to be quick, but perhaps it was a little too fast. I don't have SU knowledge of cardstock colours so it would have been helpful if you'd taken a couple of seconds tell us the name of each of the cardstock colours you used as your bases and mats. I got soft suede and bumble bee but none of the others. Were they new colours or just colours SU always uses? However, I thought your cards were gorgeous and loved the finished products. TFS.

Thanks for the tips, Bev! I do apologize - I know I get too speedy. I will try to remember that - but in particular I should have just mentioned I choose colors on the basis of what colors are listed on the pack of Designer Series Pack.
