I love the idea of a protagonist constantly reincarnating in completely different worlds and scenarios, from a zombie apocalypse to a fantasy magical setting, and every time he's reincarnated, he's offered a choice by a deity. He turns the deity down every time, which results in him dying, having his memory wiped, and he starts over in a new world.

I see this story as more of: a person keeps getting reincarnated and the same deity keeps offering them the same choice which the person takes each time (eating the apple) until one where they choose differently due to this reincarnation being so different from the others. In the scene where all the Charlie's are lined up, you can see that this one is the most different cause he doesn't have any slime on him.

After watching this at least 20 times now I only just realised how at 2:39 when Schlatt's identity is revealed and Charlie realises who he is, the music all beings to slow down which gives this really eerie sense of how Schlatt is controlling everything and then having the music speed back up again when Charlie denys the apple is such a cool subtle way to change the atmosphere! Amazing work on this!

This is insane The level of detail is killer. Schlatt getting progressively more goat features every time he shows up, Tommy's zombie eye burning in the sunlight and then later we see him standing deliberately in the shade of the overpass, the way the regular zombies are kinda goofy and cartoony looking but they aren't any less of a threat because of it, the seamless transitions to show the passage of time

This is incredible, holy crap. Seeing Schlatt and the other incarnations of Charlie, the character designs, the animation in general, tbh-absolutely wonderful.

@@amandastephens5776 It’s not 100% clear to me, but to the right of the 100 Days Charlie are references to the hardest Minecraft difficulty video and maybe when he was a slime origin in Origins SMP? I think to the left is just his base skin (which he didn’t have during the natural disaster video where the apple bit came from, but it could just be DSMP). Idk far left. Maybe it’s the VR video where they could adjust their actual heights in-game.

Holy SHIT. There is almost too much to take in here, it’s incredible. The fact it’s fully coloured and usually shaded, sound mixing and song timing, the shot composition, those transitions. My god those transitions! And the little character details and expression work is just amazing! Charlie, Schlatt and Tommy are all an absolute joy to look at because of how expressive their faces and body’s are, I’m an especially big fan of Schatt’s gradual transition into more and more of a devil figure and being able to see the two sides of Tommy at play.

@@casual-ark You’re probably right, I doubt he’s outright THE Devil, hence why I said he’s a devil figure. The imagery is definitely devilish-hair making horns, actual goat horns, human form burning away to the goat form, apples as temptation, etc. The whole potential harbinger of doom thing also kind of adds to that, obviously. Even the endlessly toying with Charlie and the others; remember he’s the “other visitor” the mad scientist mentions. He’s in it seemingly for the hell of it, helping where he wants, hindering where it’s fun. Not outright evil sure, but a classic devil-like figure.

The way that Tommy was curled up into a ball after he realized what he had done made me really sad.

This has to be the best high-quality animation I've ever seen. It's so underrated, this amazing talent of animation should get more recognition and attention.

This is like, I have no words! It portrays everything to excellently, the character introductions, Tommy's zombie eye smoking in the daylight, his normal eye only being open when he's more human than zombie, schlatt becoming more and more terrifying, all the SCU variants of Charlie, and how he's the one that didn't take the apple, the watch lighting up on day 101, there's so much I could talk about! Amazing work!

All of the posing done for Tommy was awesome, you could really feel both his innocently friendly nature, and his fear of what he is when he's normal, and then his powerful and confident aura that comes from his Zombie form. Why can I imagine wizzly just being a 14 year old with a fake beard on and an obsession with D&D

One cool thing that stood out to me was that whenever he was a zombie, Tommy's human eye never opened.

God this was amazing. I loved the callbacks to rest of the SCU and Schlatt just getting progressively more terrifying was spectacular. The character designs were great and I loved how you showed explanations for specific things like the watch and the sun burning Tommy’s zombie side. It’s all great and you should be super proud of it!!

This really showcases Charlie's videos to a whole other level, the music, the vibe, the effects, it really shows you just how tough things get in a zombie apocalypse, this was overall pure gold, btw for some reason when I saw jshlatt here 4:22, he reminded me of omniman for some reason

I don't know much about any of the actors but I really love Tommy's character concept, the child king of the undead that is struggling with his new existence as patient zero and between his need for connection and his growing infection is a beautiful freaking idea for an antagonist. I specifically remember in the video that Charlie originally assumed he was immune but no, he was just a different kind of zombie which was really cool. the design in this animation captures the vibe perfectly, especially the one zombie eye that is open when he's a zombie and the one human eye.. the bandages.. the clothes... the body language.. he looks wild and scary one second and pitiful the next, love it.

This animation single-handedly made me watch the entire two hour video just because of how badass it was. Now I’m back to watch it again. Holy crap.

This gives me the chills, it’s SO GOOD! I’m kinda sad Winfred and Wilfred were left out, but I understand why they were. You already had so many things to fit into this video that those two were not really needed.

I honestly love everyone’s roles in this, and even though most of them have funny and lighthearted scenes through the majority of the video, each person’s role in this is perfect. I love how Charlie’s closer friends are incorporated into this and have such meaning to the storyline that it couldn’t be the same without it.

I love that the artist abandoned the quirky stories of Wilbur and quackity lololol

I don't necessarily consider myself part of this fandom. I kinda just enjoy stuff for myself. But nobody, and I mean NOBODY can deny that this fandom has some of the absolute SICKEST animations ever put to KZread. The SKILL! THE CHARACTER DESIGNS! THE STORYTELLING! THE DIALOGUE! THE MUSIC!!! This looks like a trailer for a movie! A movie I would absolutely watch! This is nuts. 🤩

I really love how this manages to tell the story without actually telling you the story, I watched this first and was so surprised by everything and it was so cool. Props to both of you video makers, this was awesome to watch and made a really good trailer! (to clarify, i was surprised by everything in the original video even though the main plot was shown here)

As soon as i heard the song i got absolute GOOSEBUMPS. Also just the exposition of him in the goo was just incredible. The smooth animation and just the build up. The story telling with your animation, (and the amazing fact that you were able to take a 2 hour long video and somehow able to take it all and turn it into a beautiful 4 minute long animation), the use of the audio from the original video- god, i'm just so in love with this animation You did incredible! I'm sure this took such a long time to create. It definitely seemed worth it in the end.

The transitions from night to day are so nice, and the scene where charlie is walking in front of the blood moon is SICKK, Also rewatching this i notice how schlatts room has apple trees (which i love). Seeing the sunlight hit tommy and the smoke coming from the infected side, also seeing how in day his left eyes open but at night when hes with the zombies its the right eye. I LOVE THIS ANIMATION SO MUCH its so crazy, like the amount of detail and work put into this masterpieces is actually insane. Love it, absolutely love it

I physically *cannot stop* watching this video. You somehow summed up a two-hour Minecraft survival video (which this animation convinced me to watch) into a four-minute animation, somehow managing to perfectly portray the characters and summarize the story. How??? This- the character design, the sound mixing, the perspective and framing, the colors...this is MASTERY of visual storytelling, and what I aspire to make someday. Dude this is so badass. All the "hey charlies" were chefs kiss and specifically schlatt was done amazingly holy shit

Some Neat-o details I found and neat little interpretations I got: In 2:58 all the other versions of Charlie ate the apple and thus, Reanimating him in another world. I assume the fourth one is when he's a god and the fifth is from origins. When he refused the apple Schlatt can no longer reanimate him at all. Personal interpretation of mine but I like to think that Bit, Charlie, Condi and Grizzly are all fallen, Which is why they even survived that long and played SUCH an important part in the overall story. At 2:53 the reference to Charlie being a god at one point is neat, Because in that video the apple is also VERY influential. However it is a red apple instead of a golden one and I personally think its because the apple in there is used to DESCEND rather than reincarnate. Im also super impressed at everything really, Your expressions are so detailed that when the characters are first being introduced, You can see Charlie's look of Intrigue when Florida man is there, Annoyance when Conspiracy theorist is there and genuinely just being almost mad or disgusted by the wizard Ur so cool dude :D

This is incredible!! There are too many shots and moments for me to point out, it’s just so cool to finally see the whole thing!!!

Actual chills. Every movement is so beautifully telegraphed, every character so visually distinct and full of personality, the camera movements and the music choice absolute perfection. The story beats are told so effectively, it gives me serious goosebumps. This is sooo fucking beyond sick 🔥

Crying, screaming, throwing up. This was so amazing. God the smoothness of the animations, the character designs. The day night cycle for showing Tommy losing his mind. The watch. Jschlatt turning more and more goat like and his voice as well. The sheer amount of work that went into this is insane. Bravo 👏 👏 👏

God, I really want to see this animation be used in the next QSMP movie night SO bad. I'd love to see everyone's reactions to it on there, especially Charlie's if he actually shows up to the next one. Man, this is such a good animation. I genuinely can't stop watching it.

Absolutely amazing! I love the little details like Tommy's rotting part of his face burning in the sun, and him in the shadows after. And slimecicals hart on his shirt being bright when it was in Jshalt's shadow. This is so cool!

The way Schlatt is personified is beyond perfection

So fucking awesome. I love the connection of the SCU, showing how this charlie defied Schlatt and therefore won, despite it ending in his death. I am rather sad that Wilbur wasn't included but I understand why you'd skip that part as it didn't really matter to the overall story. Truly amazing artwork, cinematography, and camera work.

Holy shit???? This perfectly encapsulates 2 hours into 4 and a half minutes??? Your art style is utterly stunning and I loved how you drew Tommy with his conflicting zombie and human eyes! The foreshadowing and progression with Schlatt was done so well, especially with the slowing of the music!

I’ve started watching Slimecicle and other content creators this year and didn’t know about apocalypse video. But your animation just blew my mind, it’s so incredibly well done and so entertaining to watch. I don’t know how to describe what I’m feeling now, movements, expressions, coloring and etc just are at the highest level. I felt like I’ve watched a film!! This does a wonderful job of encapsulating and presenting the vibe I always get from watching Slimecicle Cinematic Universe videos. Like this is some overarching epic saga of these two beings, possibly gods, who keep incarnating over and over again to try and prove one another wrong. I feel like The Apple is supposed to represent the idea of an easy way out - a short-term solution that only helps you. And maybe that’s what Schlatt is trying to prove - that humanity is selfish and will always make that choice. But Charlie keeps trying to prove that there’s good in humanity. And he finally won. Even if it doesn’t feel like it.

I love how every generation of charlie is taking a bite of the apple, such a good transition.

the little detail when tommy was good, his right eye was open, but when he was evil the left one was open. and when he came back, his right eye was permanently closed. cool animation

there’s no way you did all of that. o my god that was the most beautiful depiction of the 100 day challenge ever. the animation, the colors, the beat of the music and been the music itself. an absolute masterpiece

This is so chilling. The full animation and color, the character designs and scene layouts, some of those wonderous transitions, this is all amazing! That story was so wild to see through when it came out, and this is a great tribute to it. I don't know what else I can say, this is just.. perfect. Deadlines you were pushed by or missing the mark of your own expectations aside, you made something amazing. Don't forget that this is still more than anyone expected to come out of the blue.

This is SO good, the animation, the character design, the VFX, the detail in EVERYTHINGG (especially Tommy's eyes and the reference to the old video with Grizzly and the othersBShsbhh) IT ALL GAVE ME CHILLS. As someone who’s watched the original 100 days twice all the way through and used it as background white noise like 7 times, I can absolutely say this is amazing.

The fact i cannot like a video more than once is a crime i would like rectified this thing is so cool!!!!!!!

I love how everyone is so detailed and yet the zombies they just did a little ":P" face. Yet it's still such a cool animation.

This is the coolest thing I've seen in my entire life. The animation is so smooth, the pacing is incredibly tight, and the music hits so well. I'm going to watch this every day i think

A mindblowing masterpiece! You really compressed the most critical parts of a two-hour video into a masterfully-composed 4 minute animation. Your sense of motion is so good, the art style is wonderfully-expressive, and your interpretation of the characters and inclusion of Slimecicle Cinematic Universe references are all a real treat! Gonna be obsessing over this for a bit, haha. Fantastic work!

Shit so clean

Ngl I've never actually heard this song before and now I don't think I'll ever be able to hear it again without thinking of this utterly magnificent animation. From the interpretations of the original vid's character designs to the little (or at least subtle) details (the little wisp of smoke coming out of Tommy's eye when the sun rose and Charlie's smirking before turning to face Tommy and flip the switch are the first two that come to mind for me), this was four and a half minutes of pure _beauty._ (Yes, even the gross zombies.) I kid you not, I actually started tearing up at the end, you are so damn good at making the art match the emotion and sheer _finality_ of SCU!Charlie's final moments. I'm out of things to say that aren't just keymashing gibberish. 10/10

There are no words to accurately describe this beauty. Just know that you have my admiration.

First off this is a absolute masterpiece, amazing job! Second I really like the (maybe unintentional) element at 1:56 where Schlatt’s shadow kinda looks like it has horns, I think it really shows how much detail was brought into this. Thank you for making this :D
