Welcome back to a Slime Rancher Update! In today's video, we start a brand new Slime Rancher game and unlock the new Slime Science Laboratory! We even find a gold slime!

Slime Rancher Slime Science Update Information!
New Slime Rancher buildings:
►The Lab
The Lab is a new ranch expansion, much like the Grotto and Overgrowth. It features some new, empty ranch patches for you to customize, but the main attraction lies in the old barn that Hobson once built sitting near the back. Within this barn you’ll find a strange array of scientific equipment that will allow you to harness the power of plorts and other resources to create gadgets.
Gadgets come in a variety of forms: everything from helpful utilities to decorative objects and more.
But before you build anything you’ll need the necessary ingredients. About half of the ingredients come in the form of plorts and the other half from resources previously undiscovered.

►The Refinery
The Lab contains a large, silo-like device called the refinery. The refinery is a one-way storage unit for your plorts and resources you intend to use in Slime Science. No need to have the items in your vac tanks when fabricating gadgets, the refinery keeps it all neatly organized for you.
►The Builder’s Shop
The builder’s shop is a special shop for budding Slime Scientists that allows them to purchase gadget blueprints. Once acquired, the specified gadgets can be fabricated so long as you have the necessary ingredients.
►The Fabricator
The fabricator allows you to build any gadget so long as you have its blueprint. Once built, the gadget can be placed at any build site.
►Build Sites
Once you built some gadgets you’ll want to place them. And using a special new upgrade to your vacpack, you’ll be able to see all the available build sites in the world. Then it’s just a matter of choosing which gadget goes where! Build sites are located all over the world, including your ranch.
►Extractors
In addition to plorts, all gadgets will require new, unique resources. These resources can be acquired in a variety of ways, but the most dependable method is to use a series of gadgets known as extractors.
Extractors include drills, pumps, and apiaries and can be placed at any build site. Over time they collect resources and must be emptied periodically. Drills will unearth gems and minerals, pumps will siphon up oils and other fluids, and apiaries will harvest honey and other bee products.

Slime Rancher Gameplay Information:
Slime Rancher is the tale of Beatrix LeBeau, a plucky, young rancher who sets out for a life a thousand light years away from Earth on the 'Far, Far Range' where she tries her hand at making a living wrangling slimes. With a can-do attitude, plenty of grit, and her trusty vacpack, Beatrix attempts to stake a claim, amass a fortune, and avoid the continual peril that looms from the rolling, jiggling avalanche of slimes around every corner. Each day will present new challenges to players as they attempt to amass a great fortune in the business of slime ranching.

And also, I think you should suggest the Dev to add a mini map into the game, have it as a upgrade, cuz let's be real, this place will once become huge and we should know where we're going, or say where we're at.

Amazing! thanks for informing the update! I cannot wait to get back in the ranches. silos everywhere, the plorts priced dropped so much I had been refusing to sell those away. I stored those in silos, day 80!

I cram the cave with honey lumo largos whenever I need cash, no cages, just mint mango trees, a water pool, and a furnace near the front door to deal with tars. The mints in the back stop them from wandering out pretty well, and you can get 50 Lums pretty easily and cram them in there :)

blits once u have an upgrade u want to place down pess t to go into build mode and u will see little blue areas you can place the gadgets down and you can not shoot out anything or suck in anything in build mode and then just press t again to get out of it

those treasure pods are used when you got some blueprint so you can open it.
blitz get water slime they don't need food and there plorts are more valuable than the pink slime. and they don't jump a lot

push "T" puts you into the workshop mode and only then do the locations you can place them show up.... the tutorial was suppose to have stars on the stuff in the lab to lead you to them... and pop up the little hint window which tells you to push "T" after fabarcation the drills and stuff...

if you throw a box into a box, they will both get opened.

In my case for the slime science thing, you'll literally have to almost get every type of slime for the slime science thing, since they require a verity of plorts, so get one getting the slimes, and include the really low tier slimes, including the pink slimes.

And also, how literally strange that the tutorial isn't popping up, cuz it should considering that your literally new to it, did you for some reason turned of the tutorials (if that is an option) or is that a bug on your end?, cuz I watched PaulSourceJr's vid on this and there was a bit of a tutorial for it. Well since the tutorial isn't on for you, if you want to use and place these stuff that you make, click "T" to go into some sort of building mode, that'll allow you to place stuff around on a somewhat fixed spots, this includes not just your area, but also the other areas as well, since the pumps, drills, and apiaries most be placed in a certain place.
