My father used to play this all the time on his set, I'm here listening to this in honor of him. May God rest his soul well😌

I Can’t Believe somebody been holding on to this 45 for all these years. This song was not in Circulation for years some Collectors still got some music out there. I only hear this play twice in my 50 years. And now it’s on KZread. Thanks for sharing. Sound Bran new.

This is a slight variation of Lonely Soldier originally by Mike Williams and later cover by Gregory Isaacs, this is earlier though. There’s also a Jimmy McFarland track with the same name but totally different song. Great combination of Coxsone Dodd and Slim on this one - love it. Was it ever issued previously or just recently ?

I have the original which was a limited blank release in 66 with a ballad on the flip. This mix is coxsone's doctored version from the 80s with added percussion, not even talking about the version flip. I had the original KZread but the Dodds got KZread to give me 92 strikes so no more S1 on KZread just my mp3s i share. Easy to find me.
