Slim definitely won this! I am a big fan of both.

When I first watched this I thought Hozin won. Watching a second time, I really appreicate the angles and lines slim boogie was working with for the breakdown of the 2nd song. I think he should've won the 2nd round as well.

Slim is on a different level. Ahead of his time. Make some of the best dancers look average

chris sorry but I disagree with that kind of “Dj thinking”that exists these days. I think it’s much better to leave the hole beat play and enjoy its different parts also that way you let the dancers be creative in various ways.. repeating the same part of music cuts the vibe and the musical story of the music composer,or if it was a hip hop song repeating the same part and same lyrics , it’s just not right.

@@greetanaangelos9318 I get creative process but if this is a battle you want to even the playing fields a little bit. the guy going second gets advantage of knowing the song which is why i think it gets fought over more but alot of the times the dj just has a song playing which is a repeatable through out with some changes. At the very least the DJ shouldnt be having these dull moments of a song get into a battle. if he has to skip a little bit. you cant have a whole dance bit with a interlude type beat. thats asking for an L for the dancer

@@greetanaangelos9318 I think it depends on the vibe of the song. Wassup by goldlink for example should be pkayed all the way in a battle, but this one shoulf be played back for sure because Slim and Hozin practically danced to two different songs in round 2.

Slim won both rounds IMO, the DJ not running the song back was some BS for real (i think Slim even mentioned it to Hozin after the last round was over). At most this should have been a draw that dictated a bonus round. Some of these battles just have trash logistics.

Slim took him easy. Better representation of the sound. Misdirection more accurate because he has less reset. Better construction and presentation. Hozin is really good no doubt. But he seems uncomfortable on the beat. My opinion.

Keyboard fighter Killer hozin goes to a battle to just show off how skillful his practicing is but you can tell it takes a lot from electric boogaloos which is what holds him back. A lot of dancers from Asia don’t understand the culture of a cypher, which is people talking and communicating with each other not just “my technique is better than yours”, purely because it was created in america.

I think he does it on purpose, he said in an interview that he started wearing tight jeans because it makes him very careful with how he moves and it's difficult to make his moves look good.

Both killed it in the first round, close but I say slim took first round. As much as I love hozin, dont like how he fucken milked the second song, DJ definitely should have ran the song back for slim as he was clearly stuck with the shitty slow part of the song. I dunno D: ... Not much of a dancer but... Hozin to me seemed to be just moving frantically and "snapping" into the same moves he's used to doing. Slim just looks like he has more control over his pacing. That's 2-0 in my books, but I don't know how these things are graded.
