Slim Boogie is always overly animation-centric, but his flows are so damn good, and comes off with more personality because of it. Really comes down to preference against Greenteck who's clearly mastered so many of the old school foundations.

as long as its a category of popping this comment is irrelevant. Most poppers have one foundation of the dance they like to interpret in their style hence people having their OWN style. Like kite with his crazy foot work, hoan with hard hits or Kei who is an absolute beast at gliding.

@@cameronforbes6276 but you are naming pure Asian popers that generally all their styles are very marked and they do not come out of it, which I think is not the case of slim or greenteck since they are varying their styles and especially greenteck which I think is the most complete and versatile poper in terms of dance styles, eg kite is good with the feet but ej in robot style literally does not handle almost anything, or gucchon who is more a puppet and drunk teacher and handles them very well but does not come out of those styles with no beat, the same with hoan is very musical and good with the arms but his footwork is quite static, of which he names I think only kei who is the best agitator and has a little more versatility just like mt pop but the others are all handled in one or 2 style.

@@marcosgimenez2369 Bro the comment was long ago and extremely ignorant, after meeting slim and them and understanding the dance for real its just that hes right, slim is more animated focused but his uniqueness is something to witness man. Everyone has a foundation in popping, basic waves, footwork, and ofcourse your dimestops. In these categories different people will excel differently between them. It could be Dokyuns, Flat top, and Madd chadds insane control, dimestops ticks, so on and so forth.

Slim won it for me, was feeling his rounds more but idk.....Green wearing full white didn't help him at all lol. Love to see them both facing off again.

I was rooting for Green but I agree that he lost like damn Slim really became the music.

Slim's style is crazy and his musicality is ridiculous, this is the kind of innovation that popping needs. Slim is the top popper in the world IMO. He has a fresh style but he still has the fundamentals too.

yes, many times in fact he has lost with greenteck too, and he has lost much more when he is in pairs that he almost lost everything, it is so much so that he has never qualified for the just debut which is the largest tournament for couples, he has always left out in the preliminaries.

In the judges was Kid Boogie, who is a close friend and dance partner of Slim Boogie, so I think that Greenteck was in no way going to win in this event.

I Rock problem? So you trying to say Tek lacks skill but can do all the movements in Boogaloo? Cuz we are talking about “The dance” and not just on aspect of Popping. You like too see the cool tricks? That’s cool lol. But I’m looking for the complete popper in this battle. Slim is good at one thing. And musicality Tek takes it. Dancing to the music isn’t standing still and doing just tuts & animation.

Green took that hands down. Out popped him, out danced him, and way more groove and funk. crowd was wack sauce for real.

The only time green really lost is against poppin c in 2014.. Dude is really by far the best that ever did this shit.. Unmatched..
