Saw them in Chicago 2 years ago, Altitude Lake put me in a trance! I’ll be seeing them again this October at Reggies and I’m going to absolutely ballistic when they play Ilion!!!

Seeing the whole album live would be so sick! Amazing 🔥

Had the incredible honor of seeing this performed live in the first row. There were times were i moved and flowed along with the music and other times where they sounded so monumental that i just stood still in complete awe, trying to comprehend what was happening in front of me. I spent the rest of the evening after the show trying to pick up pieces of my brain of the venue floor. They were that good.

I got Calexico who have been playing since before those boys were born & from the South West Arizonian desert . They don't need to make a wall of sound to be joyful & heart warming . Yep, constantly in the pocket and carrying every single song and the usual 5-10min improv bridge without error. A perfect bassist/drummer union. I guess that also comes with being on an endless tour and jamming with the same guys every day of your life. You become an invincible unit.
