Are you an abrasive disk or a flap disk kinda person? ;)

Unless i am mistaken these Whitco Locks are identical to the Lockwood 785 Sliding Window Lock version which both compaines are part of the Assa Abloy company. Nice little units only i have found there really needs to be a Lift Block installed at the top of the window frame to keep it firm in place, still looking for a solution for this, likely to machine some parts myself. Not sure if you covered this in your video.

Great instructions thank you. Suggestion: Push lock button as you fit the lock to see if the button will lock easiliy??

I don't mind the Carbine ones. They use a 5 pin key which can always come in handy.

I don't understand this jig , if you rest the Ridge of the jig on the window the holes don't line up with the lock ?????

The jig ensures the lock is installed a little higher so as not to make contact to the frame when sliding

I have these locks but no keys and all Windows are locked is there an easy way to remove lock. Thankyou
