SlideProjection is the name of the band led by Ken Dombrowski based in Hamburg. Embedded in an electroacoustic sound, stylistic contrasts are used musically to reflect these themes in a narrative, provocative, and humorous manner. The pieces sound experimental yet accessible, offering the audience various perspectives on the conditions of our present time.

"In the chronicles of dehumanization, capitalism’s grip tightens, ensnaring us in its clutches. Social media morphs into a virtual playground where esteem is measured by the number of likes and followers, eroding our personal assessment and trapping us in self-doubt. The relentless comparison and fear of inadequacy fuel social insecurity that gnaws at our souls. Gaming blurs the lines between reality and the digital realm, consuming us. Silently, algorithmic logic molds our perceptions, crafting echo chambers that distort truth. The rise of angry citizens, disconnected from facts, expresses discontent towards societal and political issues. Propaganda preys on vulnerability, manipulating minds. In the depths of our minds, an emotional junkyard lies, cluttered with discarded fragments. Yet, we strive to reclaim our essence, rediscover genuine connections, and break free from the chains that hold and burden us."
