Yes, because even though Bluey didn't appear in Turtleboy and some other episode, she was still mentioned by name in both.

The return of Leaficus!!!! We saw him waaaaaaay back in season 1 The Weekend, when we had that adorable closeup of Bingo looking at a “walking leaf”. “Is that a leaf? Are you a leaf? You look like a leaf, but you’re walking. Are you a walking leaf? But I don’t understand. Why would a leaf want to walk? You should be I a tree, leaf. Daddy, come and see! Where are you going, walking leaf? Come here, Daddy! Quickly! (Give me back my dollary doos) Daddy, come and see! Oh. Goodbye. Have fun…I’ll miss you.” She has been reunited with her walking leaf friend, having learned about leaf bugs, and naming him Leaficus and I am so happy!

Rewatching that scene and then this episode you can clearly hear Bingo's VA growing up ^^

I think I heard a theory or a comment saying that Bingo will grow up to be an entomologist because of her interests in bugs.

Leaf bugs exist, but they aren't as cute in real life. Yes, Aussies call ladybugs 'ladybirds', as do most countries with British history. Ladybirds used to be called 'the beetle of our Lady' in the Middle Ages, because the Virgin Mary was often painted with red clothing at the time. Not sure why Americans decided to change to ladybug instead.

The Virgin Mary reference is also because ladybirds eat insects (aphids) that eat crops, and don't eat crops themselves, so must have been sent by Mary to be the gardener's perfect insect.

That little caterpillar now butterfly (who's dubbed by Bingo as "Flappy" ) is so cute!🥰

If it inches, it is usually a caterpillar. Worms usually squirm around or extend and contract to get around. Even inchworms are not actually considered worms. They are caterpillars. I love caterpillars, and worms are pretty neat.

I remember when Reactuna started this series with only a couple hundred subscribers, now with the series almost completed we’ve got a whole community here. What a journey it’s been!

I have to admit that Bingo and Lila are very good bug protectors and amazing jump from Bingo and I like the funny bit where Bandit crash right into a gnome who sat Infront of the bushes if it's my opinion.

This episode makes me remember when I was little and used to play life guard in the pool. I used to go around with a little board looking for bugs and rescue them out of the water. Even though I hated most bugs back then

We're already off to a good start when it's an episode about Bingo and her bestie Lila, but a water slide? Just in time for the approach of summer, even if it already feels like it where I'm from, lol. This episode's plenty cute, though, as it further demonstrates an aspect of Bingo that we've seen before: her love of insects, something that Lila has in common with her as well, it seems. We had the walking leaf, the 'poor little bug on the wall (ding jing)', and now we've got a whole bunch of critters that Bingo and Lila don't want to hurt while enjoying their water slide. That ending with the butterfly was so cute, though: thanking the two girls who saved it from being run over.

Ladybird is what it's called in Australia and the UK, not ladybug :) There's also such things as leafbugs, but not as cute as the ones in this show! (also I still frequently tell my friend to GET STICKBUGGED LOL so was amused at your reference!)

I've always pronounced Lila as "Ly-la". The way it's pronounced here "Lee-la" is new to me. 🐟🐟
