Yup ! After the first "glitched phase" you only can click on "start game". I assume a good old ctrl+alt+suppr can makes you quit the game even if it doesn't want to =p

I saw the movie few weeks ago on KZread. It's a fan made, pretty cool though. I'm not sure it's possible to call a Slender Movie "official" anyway, as I'm not sure that the character of Slender belongs to anyone. I also watched some web-series based on Slender but my favorite since the beginning is Marble Hornets ( same guys who wrote the story of The Arrival). Hope my english is good :s

En revanche concernant CR, *SPOIL* il s'agit du corps brûlé que l'on découvre à la fin du jeu, il y a donc peu de chance qu'il s'agisse du Slender. *SPOIL* Quant au fait que CR soit Charles Matherson, c'est une éventualité mais rien dans le jeu ne donne clairement la preuve de cela. Slender est un mythe né sur un forum de paranormal anglais il y a quelques années et qui a suscité beaucoup d'intérêt, suffisamment pour que quelques Web-series naissent sur lui (Marble Hornets en tête) ainsi que de nombreux jeux. On peut le ranger dans le genre Survival-Horror mais ce serait plutôt un genre à part entière (SlenderGame), misant beaucoup sur l'ambiance et la mécanique stressante de l'ennemi. Télécharge gratuitement "Slender: The Eight Pages" sur le net et essaye :)

C'est une possibilité en tout cas. Ce jeu est censé être une trilogie, constituée donc pour le moment de The Eight Pages et de The Arrival. Espérons que le dernier épisode (dont le titre provisoire est "No Eyes" si je me souviens bien de ce que j'ai lu quelque part) apportera les réponses nécessaires à ce qu'il n'y ait plus de doute possible sur le fond du scénario. Effectivement, c'e sont les deux hypothèses que l'on peut tirer de ce niveau secret. Mais je vais me répéter: il est aussi possible que ce level soit juste une blague des développeurs à l'adresse du joueur et n'ayant donc aucune existence dans la diégèse du jeu. Après tout le décor est en état de glitch graphique permanent et il est interdit au joueur (et non au personnage) de quitter la partie. C'est donc bel et bien le joueur qui semble être pris à partie. Il faut plus voir ce niveau comme un hommage aux creepy pasta (Majora's Mask Ben en tête) que comme un niveau à part entière. Le jeu donne l'impression de parler au joueur et de le piéger en "manipulant" ce qu'il se passe dans la partie. Ensuite, certains l'interprètent comme un souvenir de Charles Matherson lorsqu'il s'est fait attraper par le Slender, d'autres y comprennent que le Slender EST Charles Matherson. Mais une fois de plus, ce niveau semble être juste une blague des développeurs :)

Well, in the case of this game you play Lauren who visits her friend kate who is actually missing, so you try to find her. By finding letters at some places, you understand that Kate and a friend of her (C.R) met the Slender when they were kids and he recently came back to haunt them (and you too). If you want more details, the Slender-Wiki is actually a good source, they take a lot or precautions to not overinterpret pieces of informations that the game gives. Thanks for watching ! :)

Il n'y a pas de trajet précis. Lors de la première phase, on se fait téléporter lorsque l'on rentre dans certaines pièces (choisies au hasard de ce que j'en sais et après avoir fait plusieurs fois le niveau) jusqu'à ce qu'on se retrouve dans une pièce fermée à clef (sauf dans ma vidéo où le jeu a oublié de fermer la porte). Dans la 2ème phase, il suffit de se balader un peu partout dans la maison jusqu'à ce qu'on se fasse "attraper" ^^

The ending of this game is pretty obscure. Basically, you find C.R burned body who tried to kill Kate and him by fire because he was convinced that the Slender will vanish by their death, but you hear ( in a sound record) that Lauren ran away. After that, something is attacking you, then black screen, then (in bonus ending) you see the camera falling to the radio tower where you were. You don't even know if Lauren is still alive. There will be a sequel, the devs said x)

Well, the problem with your guess is that we know that the "hero" of The Eight Pages is Kate x) There was an update on The Arrival on month ago with a new level: "Genesis". It actually was the level of The Eight Pages and when you finish it, Slender catches you (as he usually does) and a message appears, something like "come with me Kate, I have projects for you". Personnally I assume that the truth'll be in the last chapter of the game.

Once again, maybe this secret level is just a joke and hasn't any really signification in the story. Clearly, the entire sequence (messages, graphic glitches etc...) is addressed to the player, not the character (Lauren) so personally I do not think it has a secret meaning, but that's just my opinion. About the song, there are like 3 or 4 different songs when you turn no the radio, the one in my video is "High Water Everywhere, Pt 1" by Charlie Patton :) Thanks for watching !

Tu remarqueras que le titre aussi est en anglais. La vidéo étant une potentielle aide à n'importe quel joueur, cette langue semble être la plus appropriée pour être comprise par tout le monde. Oh ! Then yeah it's kind of professionally made in my opinion (even if I didn't like it so much). The KZread video is called "The Slender Man: The Official Full Movie" and it makes 1 hour and 18 minuts so watch it so you'll make your own idea ^^

Don't worry it's not your fault. To be honest this secret level is full of bugs. One time at the moment when the game is supposed to teleport you in the fire, it made me come back in the main screen ALL the time. I just could not see the end. In my video, you can see at 4:46 that the door is supposed to be closed. Your problem is probably another bug. Just try to do the level again and as the SCP-Soldier says "you'll probably be fine". Hope it'll work :)

salut ! Le jeu utilise l'Unity Engine gratuit d'utilisation je crois, mais je ne pense pas que les devs aient laissé leur pack graphique à disposition, ce qui était le cas d'Amnesia puisque le jeu comporte de base la section "mods". Sinon, j'ai fait Amnesia récemment et l'ai beaucoup apprécié bien qu'il ne m'ait pas vraiment intimidé contrairement à beaucoup de ses mods. Pour Quake, je crois avoir un ami qui, s'il n'a pas trop rouillé, serait bien plus capable de runner le jeu que moi :p

I have a question. when i get to the part where you are burning, how do you let him get you because he just teleports around me very near and i won't die at all. Please help, i just sat there for many minutes and he is just walking and teleporting around me leaving me alive with a very loud sound where you usually die. :(

Yeah I also played the new levels and saw this scene with young Charlie, but I don't really understand how you can conclude that Charlie is Slendy x) I mean, in this new level we see Slender catch Charlie so... I'm pretty sure it means that they're not the same person xD Besides, in the other new level, the one where you play as C.R, the game seems to show Hoodie as Charlie, at least that's how I understood it. But anyway even with unclear things it is still a great game !

As I already said, I THINK (maybe I'm wrong) that there's nothing to understand about this secret level, it's just some joke from the devs of the game. The whole level clearly speaks to the player, not to the character: I mean, I don't think Lauren or anyother character of the game is supposed to see the main menu of the game, sentences apearing in front of her eyes and graphical glitches everywhere. So in my opinion, it's just a joke/reference to some creepypastas (like Majoras Mask BEN) :)
