Thank you old chap 👌 yes was a bit chilly but we survived the night haha

active german soldier, 12 years on the clock here. Sadly enough, we still use the tent, well at least one half of it. And once out of the bag, the tent never goes back into, the way it came out :D And no, even 12y of once in a while having to stay in there, I have absolutely no idea how to get this thing up.. It´s more or less try n error, screaming and shouting at it, threatening to burn it down, more screaming and in the end... just crawl under it and use it as a blanket ^^

Yeah I have felt like using it as a blanket at times 😂😂 sometimes I really struggle to get it up correctly.

Nice one chaps, I have the German Bundeswehr Pup tent too but without the two bags... No matter how old you get farts will always be funny... Take care chappies

Ive a few of those tents all complete but the tent poles are different. Great tents and cammo. Have all the flecktarn kit and rucksack. I think those shirts are so practical and comfortable to wear anytime anywhere.👍also i like the firehand with shott globe lantern.Good video thanks.

Flecktarn is such an awesome camo. Seems to really blend in with your woodland. I love the pup tent. I miss camping in proper cold weather 🇦🇺🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Well this was my first time watching any of your videos and I enjoyed it very much. I love that tent. I have a thing for military gear. I would say 95 percent of what I have is US military surplus. It may be a little heavier than some folks like but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your videos. Keep up the good work. Dwayne

That looked cold , the weather lately has been about minus 3 or 4 know need for a fridge for beer , the German army camouflage went well with the scene of the woods. MDM

I'd give you a hard time for forgetting stuff, but I once woke up at camp, 3 and a half hours from home, and realized I had forgotten bacon. BACON! How the heck does anyone forget BACON??? Hahaha

I love my old trangia (looks same vintage as yours) sadly my kettle and pan was so pitted I swapped them out and got an duossal pan and pot and honestly they're horrible in comparison to the old stuff, but it's a cracking set now

Cat food?, I shared a brew with a young homeless couple in local woods when a ginger cat walked into the camp site. Cooking was done with a wood burning hobo stove made from a large tin can scrounged from the local Chinese take away.

Far as I can see are your used poles Swiss Army. Not German. I guess they have then a different hight than the pup tent needs and you fail errect it properly. The German tent comes original with a set of Aluminium poles in a Flecktarn or olive canvas bag.

NO WONDER you partner with Andy of KENT SURVIVAL. Your meals might do well for YOU but...I'd stay home before I ate that lot!
