Ahhh Tony! I can’t listen to someone read if I don’t like their voice. Your voice is Perfect! I’m so glad I found you on here. I have migraines constantly and spend a lot of time in a darkened, silent room. I wish I could give you an appreciative hug but although it’s deeply heartfelt this written notice of my gratitude will have to suffice.

No one narrates like the Brits.❤
I've lived in 2 haunted houses, neither malignant, and more like a housemate. The last time, the spirit left when the house-owner died in a nursing home. I believe it may have been his wife waiting for him. Bless. I missed her presence when she'd gone 🙏🏼
The purpose of these stories with the rain is to make you have to wee .

I was awake at the end. However I had already, & always do, press Like at the start before I settle in to watch even. I am so sure of, and grateful for, your excellent reading. It is a pet peeve of mine that people dont take the time to do so. I just dont understand it. The discrepancy in the number of people who watch any given video & the number of likes it receives often amazes me. Its simply good manners to say thank you, and yet across the board on KZread people are thoughtless about pressing those Like buttons. Do better folks!

I have had many experiences, l had to learn to suppress my psychic ability as it got too scary at times, it first began when l was around 9 yrs old l saw a Cavalier in our council house walk through our bathroom wall after walking out of my parents bedroom, he had the expected accoutrements of a Cavalier including a sword at his belt his hat was in his hand he saw me, smiled placed his hat on his long haired head and walked thru the wall that had our bathroom behind it, it wasn't scary he seemed very pleasant I'd say around 30 years old but back then anyone over 25 looked old to me. I told my parents the next day and they both told me it was a dream my dad had no belief whatever in anything supernatural, he was from very stolid stock, left school at 13 to go work and live on a farm over the moors he was very pragmatic, but my mother was interested in the occult and supernatural as l got older l found she was into ouijaboards, and had a monthly subscription to Man Myth & Magic a magazine on all things occult but that was about 5 years after this, we later found out that where our house and next door and a few behind us was built there had been a large farmhouse manor type of building going well back to the 1400s so there very likeley could have had a Cavalier connection the wealthy home owner or a son, though strange he could see me if he was just a projection from the past. I had a few smaller experiences, then aged about 13 my grandad had recently died and one night l was sat there alone as l was staying there for the weekend to keep my gran company, it was around 10pm my gran was down the road at her other daughters and would be back at 10.30pm ish. I was sat in a chair that looked out the main window into the street or would have done but l had recently just pulled the curtains, l was sat quietly there was nothing on tv to interest me it was 1970 only 3 channels and mostly adult stuff after 10pm, l was basically sat with brain in neutral, when l noticed that about 5 feet away from me the light seemed to be coalescing as if thickening and forming a shape about the size of a large person, sound seemed to vanish my granmas 2 cuckoo clocks had loud ticks but l couldnt hear a thing likewise her chirpy budgy couldnt be heard either, now the formating thing in the room got denser it was like a noiseless small tornado of light and 🎉dark, something was definitely forming up, l felt the more l stared the more likely it was going to firm up into a person l just knew it, and l also knew l didn't want to see it for some reason it felt totally wrong that l should see whatever or whoever was about to appear and l shouted " no no l dont want to see" l jumped out of the chair swerved around the shape my back was crawling the skin seemed to be moving about of its own accord my head was prickly and hot l got past it and into the passage then out the front door, l got to the garden gate and held onto it shaking and catching my breath, it was a cold night and the swest l had felt began to cool very fast and l felt freezing cold in a very short time, l didn't know what to do, l didnt want to frighten my gran so had no excuse to go disturb her visit with my aunt but l was getting very cold but there was no way l was going back into the house. After what seemed ages but was likely only 10 mins my gran came back and she asked me what l was doing out in the bitter cold in just my pyjamas, despite myself l told her what had happened, she didnt poo poo me or say I'd probably drifted off and dreamed it she just said almost matter of factly " oh it will just have been your grandad coming to see how you were he would never harm you would he " my grandad had been my most favourite person in the world a big man who suffered from bad diabetes that had killed him despite having both his legs removed in an attempt to save him. I knew my gran was right, but the whole weirdness of the situation the whole wrongness of maybe seeing someone who was dead and buried in the local cemetery just a few hundred yards from my grans village home had really gotten too me it had been too strange too wrong to me at that age l felt it was something l shouldnt see. My mother said the same as my gran the next night when l had gone home and after giving her the letter from my gran telling her what had happened . Again l knew she was right, but there was a part of my mind that kept saying " yes but what if it hadn't been your grandad ?". A few years later well into my late teens and after a few more odd encounters my psychic sense gave me a warning that was eerie beyond anything that had happened before, it involved a wood, a beautiful bright sunny day and a family out for a walk or they seemed like a family, but l am keeping that to myself for the present as it opened up a whole lot of scary events from my teens up to around my 50s, I'm 67 now and about 15 years ago l learned from another psychic person how to shut down the senses as much as possible l had to or else l would most likely have either died of stress or gone nuts. It still breaks thru sometimes if l let my guard down due to tiredness or just because l was very relaxed, and somtimes the prescences are that strong they just make an appearance that l can't stop but thankfully they're very rare now, I'm hoping age has to do with it closing down the part of the brain if it is in the brain as it dries out.
This is perfect for sleep! I listen to every story you upload but it's convenient having multiple stories in one video, plus the rain sounds are soooo relaxing 🙏🏽🙏🏽 thank you!

I myself believe it’s all in the voice. I find Tony’s particularly soothing and do a search for his stuff when I need to relax. I can’t listen to a favourite story if I don’t care for the voice of the person reading it. With severe pain, any noise can cause extreme stress but Tony doesn’t bother me a bit to listen to- except I really do prefer his UK accent to his North American one. Don’t get me wrong Tony, it’s a very good imitation but I prefer your natural speaking voice :) I’ve also found you can train yourself to fall asleep very quickly by listening to a specific/favourite reading repeatedly at “bedtime”. Then you can use it when you’re having trouble sleeping whenever/wherever. Just don’t listen to it where you don’t want to go to sleep! lol

I know you get what I'm trying to express- you were so kind, putting up with my rambling, "epistolary" like, stream of consciousness, ie violation of BOUNDARIES- my therapist was NOT happy- I can't often tell- a feature of my illness- THANK YOU FOR THESE - I hope the rain works- I am going to try those channels with brain waves - isolated supposedly by some technician to stimulate or relax the brain. Hi Tony, I love all your stories and regularly put them on at bedtime. I now associate your voice with relaxation 😊 Just one small issue - when I have this on at bedtime I have it on quite quietly. Your sentences seem to start in a loud voice and get quieter as the sentence goes on, so it's quite difficult to hear the ends. If I turn it up a little to be able to hear the ends of the sentences, then the beginning of sentences (and any characters talking) is very loud in comparison. I guess this is an absolutely natural way to read, and it is great to listen to, just quite difficult to fall asleep to 😞

well. I have all these stories available without rain, but not in a collection. I am thinking if I have them on their own as singles, as a rain compilation, and then as a non-rain compilation, that might be a bit of overkill. It's not a lot of work to remove the rain, but I think I shouldn't have duplicate compilations, so... But.... I could do compilations on other themes without the rain. But then rain lovers (and there are plenty) will not like those, so I am in a cleft stick. I guess the answer is a poll. That's always the answer.

Oh tony you are trying so many new things in your quest for a self sustaining income from your rather excellent work, so it “twood be churlish” for me to complain. But, I’m not sure length redits of the back catalogue with additions of rain noises is likely to hit the big time, but as my wife always tells me, what do you know ? So it will be interesting to get an update on how the quest fares !
