The bible mentions in Matthew 7:15 that they come dressed like sheep in wolves clothing. Somewhere, Satan has penetrated into the church through music, through false preacher and many other things. Knowing this, every time you say that something is unholy you have a crowd of people firing back and trying to justify that they are correct. Using this, that must mean that everything is right. An example. I labeled this music as satanic and immediately 10 people launch to defend themselves. You do this to every genre of Christian music that fits outside the norm of the church today and everybody says that they are right. Ironically, someone is wrong. If everybody is right that means that Satan has been sleeping for 2 thousand years lol. I guarantee you that he is the master of all the tricks in this world and that he is smarter than anybody in this world because of experience. He has been manipulating the church for years. He is active. The verse above says that there will be wolves dressed as sheep. Meaning the church will be invaded. In other words Satan is doing his work. Going deeper this means that somebody is wrong or else the church is completely perfect and spot less lol. If you believe that than I dont even want to talk to you lol. But then again the bible does say When arguing with fools, don't answer their foolish arguments, or you will become as foolish as they are so I guess if I continue I will become a fool.

So you battle evil music with the same kind of music. Take hip hop for an example. Hip Hop was created in the South Bronx after a failed project displaced the community of the African Americans and Latinas. This type of music became a sort of rejuvenation. Safe to say it was created by the world. Romans 12:2 says do not conform to this world. So you use the music that Satan created to battle him. Do you understand how idiotic and stupid that sounds? And the fact that he is sitting there laughing at us for accepting it and bringing and infiltrating it into our church. Wake up man.

While reading your comments tastes...not so good. Their message does not contradict the Bible. They are spreading the word of God. You inhibit them with your comments. So it looks like you're just doing what you preach against. Also Satan doesn't exist. Satan is just the absence of love. So actually he is nothing. So there is nobody manipulating us. There's just us refusing the love of God, choosing nothing, becoming nothing. That's the devil, that's hell. If this music isn't part of YOUR way to God, it's okay. But calling this music satanic is insulting people who found a way to God in this music. And insulting other people's relationships to God sounds like a step towards hell for me. There are a lot of bad idols in modern music but Sleeping Giant is guiding the right way and it's a pity you can't enjoy them...

Christian lyrics make it Christian music. One also has to look at the the heart and intent of the musician. You can sing Christian lyrics and not mean it, or sing it for the purpose of mocking God. But, you're right, a guitar is not going to hell for being "satanic" as only people are either for or against God.

I love the harmonies in this song and tithemi. 'I don't always listen to hardcore, but when I do...'. I play a lot of the lead guitar parts for hillsong united songs, and that's generally my speed, but I love to bust this out sometimes too. People are being reached through the music, all kinds of music. People who would not ever walk into a traditional church are being reached, now more than ever. Keep reaching out, too many of our brothers are still out in those waters, lost!

I honestly don't understand how somebody could consider this satanic. The band has clearly displayed Christian values and played music with a Christian message but in their own way. Just because it isn't hillsong or contemporary doesn't mean that it is "evil" or "satanic" just because it is a harder style of music. Take Oh, Sleeper for example. They have some pretty heavy music and some of their songs include the defeat of Satan and the reign of God. Now I'm sure if something like that is in a song, it is not Satanic. For those who think it is satanic, please reconsider.

Its quite nice to hear a band who's not doing all the stupid core growling and screaming nonsense and never found how it can really minister to the Christian people.
