Ballet is one of the most difficult dance ever. It requires strength, discipline, grace and suppleness I've been trained in ballet for 10 years. I started on Pointe when I was 12. I had to quit at 14 because I was busy studying Now I am 17 and I am playing Iris in Fame. I feel the need to prance in my Pointe Shoes again.

Anna Man Ki Chum - it’s never to late to start ballet again! My ballet teacher started at a late age, started at 16. Now she’s en Pointe doing solos and other dances with the Principal Dancers at my school

Did my first face to face class since March today and learnt this. It hurt so much

this is my favorite variation

Yah my mom would always tell em the pas de chaos on pointe (when I did them) were so loud and where she would ask me the progress of my variation when I got home from dance she would ask me if I’d stopped galloping 😂

donna well the gallop doesn’t look classical anyways. I have been ballet since I was 2 years old so a decade and I know what looks classical and what doesn’t. That gallop looks ugly!

This particular dancer does look like a horse! She’s not great, to say the least. The choreography is somewhat changed, the tempo is slow and she is still behind the music
