- Use a liner to help manage your temperature and keep your sleeping bag clean
- Use the hood or draft collar on the sleeping bag to keep heat in
- As much as possible, keep you sleeping bag dry on trips, and air it out when you get home.
- Different materials used for insulation have different properties so consider this when purchasing your sleeping bag.
