I am big JJ McCarthy fan. I think he is going to be a fantastic NFL player. He has all of the measurables to be a great player. He is only 21, and he is on the right trajectory. He was a big-time recruit in high school. His best football is ahead of him.

@@farriskhan2352 there will likely be lots of bad choices made in the first round - there always are. I would expect a lot better production from a QB with the best O line in the country for multiple years and arguably the best run game and defense as well.

He's potentially the future, "almost" Tom Brady , but barring injury , far better than Patrick Mahomes, Johnny Unitas, Otto Graham,Bart Starr. You heard it here first. McCarthy is Mister Clutch. Any g.m. or coach who does not pick JJ McCarthy with their very first pick anywhere in the 1st round ,including the team with pick #1, should be summarily fired. JJ McCarthy is the best and most complete QB in the upcoming draft. He is the most NFL ready, most intelligent, best educated , hardest worker, most unselfish, most accurate , most charismatic, and most humble of all athletes in this particular draft. A difference maker . He is a once in a half century QB talent and is a freegen WINNER. Class dismissed.

McCarthy is the real deal. He is a good quarterback. He commands the team when on the field. He sees the whole field - which most college quarterbacks don't do. He can run, he can throw accurately into small windows, and he can throw moving right or left. Most of all - he doesn't have a huge ego and can be coached. If anything, he's Tom Brady 2.0.

JJ McCarthy is Mac Jones 2.0 Check JJ’s qbr and comp percentage vs the 3 best teams he played against (OSU, Bama, Wash) His numbers decrease significantly vs the rest of Michigan’s schedule and he’s lucky he got away with throwing that near INT on his first pass vs Bama that the guy stepped on the line. He’s going to face much better competition in the NFL.
