I applied a blindfold made from electrical tape, letting no light in, and played this in my pitch black bedroom. I fell asleep after about 30 minutes, and I woke up 3 hours later feeling a step away from batshit crazy. That's where I am now, wish me luck boys and gals and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard.

I just did this and didnt fall asleep but thought that I was doing it for like 5 mins when it actually was half an hour

This is the sound of our alarm clock back in the 70's the longer it buzzed I would be too late for school, so I slept through it then, and it sends me sleep now. I hated school.

can someone plug the audio jack back in? it sounds loose.

Sounds more like the electronic sound that might come from a fridge but this doesn't sound like radio static to me.. Unless you're connecting your radio to an electric fence or something.. But it is a relaxing sound if I might add and thank you for putting it up...

I think this is close to what I used to listen to in those cold mornings before heading out to high school good job 👏

This doesn't sound like radio static. You young'uns may not remember what it could really sound like. It was closer to what they call brown noise, but it often had a rhythm to it, could even come and go in waves like the ocean, and there was often the sound of voices mixed in. I'd create such a sound file myself if I could.

A good idea is to use your computer turn on a internet radio station put the static over it. That almost made me sleep. |0zzzzz

A small amount of this mixed in with some true static noise actually can sound good, especially if you emulate some radio station fading in and out. As it is, it sounds like the ancient fluorescent light fixtures in the garage of the house where I grew up.
