The London Underground trains you described as being narrow are 8'7" wide, yes they are narrow, however the narrowest metro trains exist in Paris and Berlin where they are just 8' wide.

😅😅😅 No one dare to wake him up

The central line is by far the best line to sleep on. My opinions: Central - cosy and ambient. Right temperature, noise level and lighting. Piccadilly - pretty similar however the central is slightly better. Victoria - too hot though I don't use this line often Jubilee - ok but can be too noisy at times Metropolitan - the worst of the lot. Seats are very uncomfortable However there is one place that is worse than the list above. And that is the night bus. Seats are very uncomfortable. Especially in winter the bus gets too cold
