yesss full album. This was easily AOTY 2023 for me. it almost ruined other releases because nothing came close to it.

Yes its his voice, I saw them live in Cologne/Germany last December. The venue was very to small it was sold out in 10 minutes. The bassist was missing due he had a family case in the UK, but it was anyway an experience....They use only a very silent computer backing track on the concert, its clear that Vessel is singing live like on the Album even better I would say. If you get a chance I would go lol. The new light show is insane lol

Not altered voice. His voice is really deep when he talks. Also heard him in his last acoustic band when he was young...same voice.

Oh shit, if you do a full album review for this one, you're going to love it lol. Sick. Sleep Token just kinda does whatever the fuck they want, so it ends up being a pretty creative album. Regardless of whether or not some compositions "land" with people, their artistry is undeniable.

This song is absolutely the best! If I had a chance to go see them I would go.

Before you get too far down the rabbit hole, if you're gonna do a full album reaction I'd recommend starting from the beginning of the trilogy with Sundowning and work your way through them to Take Me Back To Eden. You'll get the whole story that way and it'll definitely be a much better listening experience!

You’ve heard nothing yet 😅. Melting pot of genres, try to describe the band after hearing the album, it’s so hard; in their own category. Excited for you to hear more!

Check out songs by Blacklit Canopy if you are truly obsessed. Vessel is an intelligent and sensitive person. The words he uses in his lyrics, scientific, medical terms, make it stand out. His voice is devine.

I love Sleep Token! Personally, their previous album "This Place Will Be Your Tomb" is my favourite. Would love to see album reactions for them all if you like Take Me Back To Eden.

Their new album get's a lot of love, and so it should. But their previous 2 albums are just as good if not better. All 3 are 9/10 to be honest. Can't wait for more of you reactions to them!

Vessel's vocals tho. I do get the Hip-Hop-Pop-Metal vibes

Let's just say that if you know what Vessel did before Sleep Token then you know his voice has always had this quality. They do use vocoder at times for effect, so maybe that is happening in this song. Good luck with Tix. Tried to get Red Rocks and they sold out in less than 10 minutes. Heard the price is a bit high, but whatever. Just FYI, there is a song "Euclid" that ends the album, and it has a lot more meaning if you have listened to the rest of their discography first, but either way the album is a masterpiece. Can't wait.

I think there's a bit of Vocoder work in this song, it's more prominent in others. 'Take me back to Eden'' also has some lyrical call-backs to an earlier song on the album.

Ive known Vessels and II's identity for years now. Its amazing how many knew even before the last leak. Whatever you do dont ever say their identities ever in a video. The gate keepers will literally have a heart attack. To me that by far the worst part of being a fan of Sleep Token. Its almost embarrassing. Vessel and II's names are literally everywhere now but their identities are still being gate keeped. Its a pitty because Vessels previous band is actually pretty good

​@@hitman9198 I don't know what it is with certain people, when they hear a band is anonymous they seem to consider that a personal challenge to their ability search the internet and find their real names. No one is impressed by your ability to work search engines or watch old videos from previous bands Vessel or other members were part of. I am sure it was very exciting to you the first time you found out what their real names were and you couldn't wait to run to the KZread comments to let everyone know how very smart you are, but most of us don't give a shit. We know the information is out there and available, but the band prefers to be anonymous and it hurts nothing to go along with that. The only other motivation I can imagine for outing them is to get clout online or to intentionally try to ruin it for their actual fans, both of which are totally fucking useless wastes of everyones' time. Touch grass.

@dmann05 huh. I literally watched a KZread reactor just type Sleep Token in Google. There names were right there. She read off vessels. Albeit here first time ever listening to sleep token. You could of swore she killed everyone's dog by the way everyone acted after that. You can act all dumb and confused on this subject. That's your right. But don't sit here and lie to me to sound more special. I discovered Vessels name because I discovered his old band from KZread recommending it too me. I swore it sounded like him. And what do you know it was the same guy. Go figure. You definitely aren't as smart as you think you're

I'm curious what isn't quite connecting with you? (Not a challenge on your opinion). I'd heard the odd song and thought it was okay, wasn't until I gave each album a full listen and sat in the soundscape they like to create that it started to dig it's claws in me and hit me with small surprises all over the place.

@@TWMonty I have never understood the rap rock phenomenon. Their songs I have heard are very much pop songs, tinged with some guitar on the periphery. I have never been a fan of bands with a heavy gimmick either (a preference which I discovered in the 70s with KISS). There is music out there for everyone of different tastes, which is wonderful and correct. This is just a band that doesn't connect with me. Perhaps the masks and cloaks are too much for me to get past, but so far neither the compositions or lyrics have done it for me. I have talked with some fans who are totally engrossed with the anonymity angle, and I always walk away smiling and a bit baffled by it. There is no denying they are finding wide appeal, much like Ghost.
