The whole album is a callback to everything! Lyrically, musically, even a couple of words snuck in there that he knew some of us would self destruct over. The whole album is about acceptance and closure of the journey from the start of his music.

Same boat. Heard "The Summoning" on a stream in the background. I instantly stopped and said "what the hell is that" after having that and chokehold on repeat for a couple days went back and listened to the other albums and they became my current favorite band within 4 days of hearing of them for the first time. The culmination here is just something else. Plenty of great music out there but this band is special. It gives me a feeling music hasn't given me for a very long time.

that callback broke me. I DID cry. I only came into ST in January and dove head first into their discography. And when I heard TNDNBTG at the end of this song, I died inside. But the fact you caught it immediately like I did, made the tears come back...I think they are done but WHAT AN ENDING....AOTY!!!!!

It's like 3 months since this album dropped and I still ugly cry to this song, the way it's written and presented is unlike anything I've ever heard in my life.

I searched for a reaction of Euclid and found this... Got exact the same goosebumps and i felt EXACT the same. The cycle is closed. Worship.

THE NIGHT BELONGS TO YOU is one of the greatest musical moments of 2023. Nice Admirals hat. Milwaukee represent.

I fell down on my knees weeping the first time I heard this. Worship.

Some people have called these albums the "Sundowning" trilogy..just a thought (which is amazing about music, everyone has a different interpretation)..but I feel that Euclid is the sun setting on the trilogy after a long, hard fought battle with yourself and waiting for the next sunrise in your new chapter of life..of course this is just one interpretation I have.. You literally cannot sleep on Sleep Token. What an incredible journey these 3 albums have been

What a fantastic album, great song! I don't see it as the end of the band, I see it as the start of something new.

I’m not a lyrics guy, but my god his lyrics are perfect. No cheese, not typical, well written stories.

Hopeful, is how I would describe Euclid.

Really enjoyed watching this one. Of course all the reactors freak out at the end of this but I think you're the only one I've seen almost cry. The ending kinda hit me the same way but for a different reason - I didn't know it was a callback since I came into the Sleep Token game pretty late. So just hearing these lyrics on their own merit it seemed like a really bittersweet ending. Also I gotta say this song feels like the ending of a movie where the protagonist went through a ton of shit, and nothing ever actually got better or had any resolution, but in the end he finally had to come to some kind of self acceptance and say "I have to move on, and it'll be ok"

Dude, the ending of this is SO HUGE to build up to that moment of a full circle?! It's the closest thing to a cinematic movie ending you can get in music, I totally agree. I cried for a solid 15 minutes on that last refrain and when TNDNBTG I lost it. I still cry when I hear it from time to time. So glad to see this song being appreciated for how deep and meaningful it is.

I remember 2016 finding this band at a really low point in my life and how much they impacted me. This song brought me back to the beginning of finding my freedom. This one hit different ❤❤

2018 discover weekly with Jawz for me! I've been through so much with them since, being the most played band every year. This hit me like a truck

I can imagine this song live, a real emotional connection for the original fans and for Vessel! But if this was the encore and at the end the band left the stage and left vessel on stage to receive the ovation would be beautiful! His entire body of work for the last 5 years gone full circle with a beautiful ending/new beginning.

Yours is the first reaction that felt genuine as a ST fan. Yours is the only one that captured the absolute breathless feeling I had when I realized how this song tied everything together. I feel like this song was created as a gift to the real fans. So many details just for us. I reacted just like you during the end of the song. 😂. I really hope that this isnt the end but just a new beginning, just look how the vessels mask has transformed. I think that this is the end of who they were and now they will transform into something new.

Yeah, I lot of folks, myself included, are brought to tears by that ending. So uplifting and moving.

For me the reason why ST called this album its title is because of the sheer callbacks. Take Me Back to Eden, the song, had a lot of callbacks in itself (esp to Chokehold, with some lyrical reference). But this is the best and obvious one, and the album title is a perfect easter egg to that. Eden = beginning = callback to the first song off their first album. Take Me Back to Eden is taking us back to the very beginning.

​​@@13lueBerryBluntz I think you also know what the BC references represent as well. I think the whole cycle began with Vessel meeting II while in the midst of his unraveling of losing her. I think the band and lore behind them have helped him straighten his shoulders, Lift his head and keep going. I believe this is just the closing of the First chapter, And who knows what's in store in a couple years time. One thing I would be curious to see is if III and IV start becoming more involved musically. I'm aware of their previous bands & they're great musicians and writers themselves. Vessel will always be the primary composer I'm sure, But I can't wait to hear what comes either way.

Unrequited love is something we can all identify with and I think that’s why Vessel touches us so deeply with his music. We’re truly lucky to witness such beautiful and heartbreaking artistry. ❤️

I agree 100% on their progression between each album. They found their sound and then TMBTE is when they made the genre hopping/mashing comprehensive. It all WORKS so beautifully together. I think they got a new mixer/producer too cuz the soundscapes are fantastic

Taking it back to the strat of the Trilogy. What an ending! I cried!! I’m thinking this is a release from the lore/Sleep. It would open things up more for them. Vessel is so creative that this could continue into a very interesting era. The statement said the end of a trilogy in the ongoing Sleep Token saga, so they’re not going anywhere!

This song was the end of something beautiful that we all connected with on the night does not belong to God. I literally went into the bathroom at work cause I was tearing up from the callback. So sad. So beautiful. No words.

Soooo when you said I’m scared is this the end? I don’t want to give too much away but he mentions ancient canopies and vessels previous band has canopies in the name and they released a new song in 2023 so you may not be too far off with sleep token just doing the trilogy for now and going on hiatus if vessel is going to be releasing music with his previous band again.

TNDNBTG is still a masterpiece, and Euclid shows just how much of a good arrangement BOTH songs are

Vessels writing set the bar for metal too high no other album this year will be listened to as much as sleep token theyre not a band rheyre a gift sent to is to experience a little heaven on earth

I only just realised I’m scared for my life that this could mean the worst… The end of sleep token… No more vessel. No more masterful drums. It could all be over
