I discovered them prior to them to release their first album, and discovering back this treats from their early EPs where this track feature was awesome. I guess you had more treats to discover. The only downside i see is the opportunities to see them live in small venues. Now it's impossible.

You say that, however I went to see them in Manchester in the early days. Tiny gig, they were supporting at the academy. I absolutely loved them and had to stand in a crowd of people talking over them because they weren't appreciated as they should have been. It was so frustrating! Although I'm happy they are getting the recognition they deserve now 🙂

There is something deeply spiritual about Sleep Token. It's not so much about the stage act, the catch phrase, the masks, or the out of this world concerts they give. When going down this rabbit hole of deeply emotional, hauntingly beautiful and achingly over wrought lyrics, one can't help but get lost inside multiple musical layers, the ambient abstracts of vocal echoing, and gorgeous vocals. The storyline is obvious, a toxic relationship paining Vessel. And anyone who has gone down this same road (with someone who does not love them back) and you really listen to the discography, you can expect an inner healing. a reshaping of your soul, if you allow it. I'm serious. You will belong to the night after you complete the ST discography, but in the best way possible.

It’s what I love about post rock music. The instrumentals and feel of the song brings you a story of emotion and they don’t even have singers in that genre. So his singing makes it even better.

How are they even a real band? I've never heard modern metal so compositionally and melodically perfect. Every song is a story from start to finish - an emotional trip in the greatest sense. The blend of expressive, R&B-esque vocals with modern metal/djent guitar work, and at times throwback punk-esque drumming is the breath of fresh air the metal scene needed. THIS is unique, THIS is new. I've only just started listening to Sleep Token so I'm working my way backward in their discography and I simply cannot find a song I dislike. They've seriously cracked the code.

I feel so many different things listening to them...good and bad...an AWAKENING for me...in my life at 55....how many bands out there can do that??? I'm sure, without a doubt. I have similar with Kate Bush, who I've been a fan of since she released "Wuthering Heights" in 1978. However, beautiful though her music is, it doesn't give me the same shivers that Sleep Token's music does. Both Kate and Sleep Token/Vessel are total music geniuses in their own rights but oh my lord! Vessel's voice has such an immense amount of emotion in it that I feel broken and remade each time I hear another of their tracks. WORSHIP.❣💔❣

This was my first impression of Sleep Token a couple years ago. When I first saw this video and heard his voice I couldn’t quite appreciate its authenticity back then like I do now because I was so used to the cut and dry nature of most modern metal nowadays. Ever since then I’ve grown to love and appreciate everything this band has done and I now consider this one of my favorite songs and videos, not just from this band but from all the music I’ve discovered over the years. WORSHIP.

I also found them through metal hammer. In the live show reviews (which are genius btw, they tell you what the band sounds like as well as reviewing the performance .) was reading a festival show, and I saw a picture of the singer throwing up a middle finger, reading an unidentifiable book, but it had the same ascetics as religious documents. Then the caption underneath stated Sleep Token: Anonymous awesomeness. I read the paragraph about the show. I remember the words through a hazy shroud, wierd, beautiful, interesting. Looked them the fuck up immediately and MIND FUCKING BLOWN!

😳 seeing vessels face seems so strange and he’s handsome like a beautifully crafted masterpiece.

This beyond excellent and incredibly dynamic. It's like Sigur Ros, Everything Everything, Massive Attack and ISIS all came together and birthed this incredible musical creature.

Wasn't initially a huge fan of them, because I was listening to heavy, death metal... But they came up and I decided to check them out. No regrets.

The first Sleep Token song I ever listened to was this one, before they had even played a single live show. Crazy to see how far they have come!

Obvi a fan of ST, but man round of applause for the peeps behind the camera. Loved the angles of the instruments. The cuts, transitions, all so dope. I also always imagine the conversation that precedes getting the shot - “ok I’m gonna get real close up now just mush this charcoal thing in your mouth real good” hahahha

I discovered this band at the same time I started to play Destiny 2 again (eyes up guardians) and now all I think of when listening to them is that Sleep token is a folk group started by a cabal of warlocks. Gods I love them.

This song really helps me deal with the mental load of insomnia, im forever awake. I cant even sleep with my partner amd it crushes me, until i see her again in the morning it makes me forget i havent slept in days. To me its like wanting to sleep without it being chemically induced. Perhaps Sleep is maybe a deity i have been seeking myself, loathing fot the darkness in a way without it sounding morbid

Music continues to remind me how much it’s saved my life.

I get what you mean. Though not Sleep Token songs, I've felt the same way as you by other artists' work or music, which were loved by everyone else.

I get it. And I don’t want to try to convince you to force yourself to be in a bad place to listen to them, but this is my take: At first I couldn’t decide if they make my pain worse or better, but I put it down to their music helping me process everything. It brings it up, yes, but it also helps me feel it in a safe way, and slowly - EVER so slowly - it gets less. Vessel’s lyrics have this really unique way of exploring the depths of the things people don’t talk about.

This song is akin to wanting someone so bad that it hurts... i feel that.

I've been listening to Sleep Token for about a year now, and for some reason never really gave this one a chance. This is now by far one of my top 3, if not top, Sleep Token song. This is truly a beautiful piece of art, is so powerful, and captures my heart and soul. I love Sleep Token so much. Worship

I love sleep token’s music, so much not just one song I mean all of it. I love that vessel sings so emotional and he or even they all have been through some really bad heartbreak here. It’s very relatable and I love that about this band.I love that all the instruments play so beautifully together with his voice and everything, just everything about this band is amazing. And I discovered them because of a friend in the beginning of the year of 2022. Also, some one of their songs when he says “are you in pain like I am?” Sadly i am but learning to grow slowly. I’ve been through some really bad heart break as well and still learning to grow over the years from it and it’s funny because it made me want to start writing as well along with other things, I’ve been through in life. And this is before sleep token but once I found sleep token, I couldn’t express music any better than what they did. I could express something but they are just so damn relatable. Can’t even put it in to more words atm. I just can’t relate to every song they wrote !

I cry everytime i listen to this song, and i listen to it every day on repeat.

I just discovered this band and man, sounds sooo beautiful and different. That voice is heaven, sounds like a mixture beetween the Kings of Leon's frontman and Sam Smith.
