Glad you stumbled upon Sleep Token now huh? They are easily one of the best bands I've come across ever! The lyrics that Vessel (singer) writes is pure poetry and he writes all the music too ( all the instruments except for the drums, which is written and performed by II). You started with Alkaline, that's from their 2nd album. They have 2 EPs and three full length albums. The first is Sundowning, This Place Will Become Your Tomb and lastly Take Me Back to Eden. The last album rounds out the "trilogy" that all three albums portray. It's like reading a book, you dont want to start with the third book in the series, you want to start from the beginning. I know most bands it doesn't matter where you start listening to them, but it just hits different if you get the whole story from the beginning. Because that's what Vessel has done, told a tragic story about toxic relationships. Enjoyed the reaction. Looking forward to more. ❤ WORSHIP❤

Every single Sleep Token song is unique. Dont listen to them with a genre expectation in your head. When someone asks me what genre they are I just respond with, ''Sleep Token''. They have three albums and a handful of EPs. ALL and PURE GOLD! As mentioned in previous comments please do yourself a favor and save Take Me Back To Eden and Euclid for last. Literally go through their entire catalog from start to finish. It is the most rewarding musical journey you can take. Last bit of advice, dont worry about their videos. Just like the members of the band its not about them. Its about the music and especially the Lyrics. Have the lyrics pulled up or choose a lyrics video because Vessel is a poet! If you dive deep in to ST it will pay off in spades!

Well, if you wanted the guitar part to be longer, I think that means it's time for The Summoning. The more of their music you listen to the better you will come to understand that they defy being categorized. You can always pick out their songs but each new on you hear will be different.

Yes. Finally someone else picking up on this. The entire spiel after 'pentagrams in the night sky' imo is a reference to all the limitless kinds of content one consumes / is exposed to online. I can't easily see this whole song being about a toxic relationship with social media, algorithms 'guessing his future' etc, and his eventual Ascension by way of leaving. That maps pretty well into my experience with social media in any case haha, regardless of whether or not that's what this song is about. Feel like I'm onto something though XD

You should start at the beginning and work your way through. It’s a story and there are so many call backs to songs from other songs they’ve done. This is one of my favorite ST songs

They are a band(or anonymous collective) hard to explain to someone one,cause they don't "fit" in a specific music genre,like maybe the next song you hear from them could be funky or jazzy 🤙

Yo man I really liked what you said, BUT. There are some major audio issues with this video. when you hit a hard "S" your audio peaks high as fuck and it hurts ppls ears. Look into that. Pretty sure you can bring it down in editing or just get a better mic. There's also a ton of background noise at all times. It sounds like you have a Hurricane Wind Power 5K in the background, but it's probably just a room fan. People get distracted by shit like that. The cheapest option is to turn off the fan and say 's" with a slight lisp. The best option is to buy a better mic and a license to sound editing software. Either way you should get a real mic with a pop filter probably. But who am I I don't know shit. And also enjoyed this reaction in terms of the words you said.
