Sleep Number bed gap / sag in the middle solution possibility

Because my older model Sleep Number bed came with two air mattresses, the bed has slowly developed a gap type sagging condition in the center where the two mattresses meet.
I like the bed, but would like it so much more if the gap/sag could be eliminated - or at least reduced...
Follow up 3/07/21 - It's been about a year since installing the 'bed belt' and it seems like there might be a slight sag.
Not absolutely sure but I took the bed apart anyway and made new holes in the belt; about 2.5 inches tighter.
The bed now feels even better than before :)

It's interesting that you'd pay so much for a mattress and then have to retrofit it with something like this. It seems like a logical solution, but you'd hope the manufacturer is taking note of workarounds like this. Thanks for the video.

I just tried exactly what you did. I can definitely say it's a significant improvement, thanks for the video

Thanks for the video. I have come up with an alternative solution that works great for me. I used the foam from an old pillow. I stuffed the foam inside a pair of woman's leggings and used the two separate legs as a foam support to wedge between the two air chambers. Simply unzip the chambers, place the foam stuffed legs between and zip back up. A very simple solution.

The sag is a combination of two things I've discovered. One is a poor fitting shell (mattress encasement). I found mine was torn underneath which caused bulging at the sides. The other is a worn memory foam pad. Problem was resolved by taking care of both of these issues.

I originally ordered dual chamber as an accommodation for visiting lady friend, But in beginning noticed slight trenching in middle also a slight ache in back on lean the ache has gone away in last 30days trial but decided to return for single chamber instead. I think I can get by with an added 3" soft dunlop or telala latex matress topper for my visiting ladybug. I think I noticed this issue more because I have a queen and dual chamber are narrower than a king or Ca. King floor models that I tried at the store. ANY BODY HAVE SIMILAR ISSUES?

Easier and faster solution. Duck tape on each end of the bed about a foot in. Has been working for a month.
