My Sleep Number Split King with adjustable base is 6 years old. Today, I received an E5 error code on remote. I called Support and they are insisting it is the power box. After I started troubleshooting I was able to get the left side to work. When hitting the reset button on the box, I can hear the left side making adjustments but not the right. They still insist it is the box. Any thoughts? Maybe it's the power receptacle/rocker switch?

Yes, I agree with Sleep Number, control box failure. This is certainly an issue that we see sometimes with that particular control box. As you already know , Sleep Number does not have those control boxes and they want to upgrade your bed with components that will not allow you to use your original remote to control your mattress and base at the same time. We do stock the factory OEM boxes for Sleep Number so you can still use your original remote. Please reach out to our office during business hours and consult with one of our experts.

We are having such a bad time with ours and they’ve tried over the phone to fix it! Had we known we couldn’t get someone out to come help and not just phone stuff we would have NEVER spent the money we did on this junk bed!

Contact our office during business hours for a much higher level of support. We make repairs on these types of beds daily. Problems with these beds are either electrical or mechanical. the up / down buttons on my remote no longer work? is this fixable? this is for a 7 year old sleep number bed. the remote is the same shown in your video.

Hi Paul, those remote controls are non-repairable. I believe you can still purchase refurbished ones directly from the Sleep Number website. If not contact our office during normal business hours and we can try to find you a replacement. Thank you for inquiring with us!

Do you know where the serial number for the flex fit bases are on the base itself? I lost the registration card and need support from sleep number and they won't help until I give the bed base serial number. 😮

The serial number on those bases are located on a white label affixed to the actual metal frame. Could be on the left or right side or head or foot. We don’t need your serial number to help you with your Sleep Number bed. You’re welcome to contact our company for personalized service.

We only sell Sleep Number parts for the adjustable bed, not the mattress. I can tell you to check the little rubber O-ring where the hose attaches to the mattress fitting. You can remove the O-ring and put just a little Vaseline on it and then replace. That should do the trick.

I wanted to find out how to inflate bed didn't cover. I believe that is an important subject to cover.

Make sure your bed is connected to your wi-fi. The iq function takes about a week normally to learn your sleep schedule. You will know it's working when you get in bed and it automatically adjust to your sleep setting to help you fall asleep and then firms up to help you wake up more naturally.
