Dave you’ve come a long way from the running hook sets on the bank to pulling one in from the seat of your boat.

The one thumbs down must be that Dieter miehorn fella 😂

Dave, try putting a big enough bead above your swivel/leader to keep your board above it. It will prevent your boards from running on down to the fish. Keeps from beating up your boards and fish, and also keeps the fish from using the boards as leverage to pull the hook……like the flathead. Try it, if you dont like it, take them off. Bet you like it……

Thanks for the video! Always look forward to them. My favorite channel. Most the time I catch fresh bait but there are some times when I don't get a chance or its hard to get. I have soaked chicken breast in vanilla extract overnight and that seems to work when I'm on the fish.

The lesson we learned as we all sat and listened, NEVER be CHICKEN to use CHICKEN!! The goat gave us more action than lethal weapon 3!!!! Catfish Dave is the man!!!
