@@sebastienlangonnet8852 The best thing that happened to Dream Theater was Portnoy's departure. I prefer Lombardo, but Paul Bostaph is a great drummer, he wouldn't be playing in Slayer if he wasn't.

RIP Jeff Hanneman. Gone but NEVER forgotten! I've seen Slayer twice, in London. The second time I thought I was going to die. Their mosh pits are like no other metal band and you better be ready to be crushed wherever you stand in the crowd. Brutal audience! The band killed it on stage both times.

Agreed. Seen Slayer many many times and no other band compares. First time was in about 1986 last time was 2019 at their very final show ever at the LA forum.

I was lucky enough to see Motorhead, Anthrax, Slayer, and Slipknot all in one day!!!!

This song has always given me that feeling of descending into madness. Absolutely love it.. Slayer is so loved because they play their music. Whether you like it or not is inconsequential. They play what they like. They don’t conform to the masses like Metallica did after And Justice For All.

Haha... Hanneman's solo had nothing to do with the origninal one. Kerry's was at least 50% from the composition. Awesome album. Good days when Jeff was still alive.

I think this is after he got the spider bite. He was unsure if he would even be able to play guitar at all. But you could tell it wasn't the same. He always wore long sleeves after that cuz his upper arm looked totally destroyed. RIP Jeff

As bad ass as Dave Lombardo is in SLAYER if you really wanna hear what he can do check out Grip Inc. One of the most underrated metal bands imo & the drums are some of Daves best work. The song hostage to heaven is a good place to start
