Hell yes, I've said that many times. I'm from New Zealand, down here, everybody is either into Hip Hop shit, or the lastest "flash in the pan" artists. I'm always hearing "Man, fuck that untalented metal shit" & "it's not the 80s anymore bro" & "aren't you too old to still be hating your life and everything" Lol!! But then 20 mins later, after hearing the band I jam in belt out Angel of Death, and some old school Sepultura & Testament & Exodus tunes, those same people ain't talking shit no more. Then they wish they were blessed with being a Metalhead. And I always tell them, "you wouldn't suit metal, because you're only a fan of part time music, and Metal is more than music, it's a lifestyle".

As someone who doesn't know metal all too well I've heard lots of great ones but the way this one is contructed, it's just genius, I don't think I could play that if I wanted too.. I wonder if this is what they were thinking coming up with this shit, I don't know theory and when I make shit it just, happens.. Theory is such an easy way to stay in a box, imo. fuck theory

I think Reign in Blood is still one of the (if not *the*) best-recorded thrash metal albums of all time. Very clear, crisp and harsh sound. Makes Seasons in the Abyss sound like a muddied mess and most other albums recorded by the Big 4 in the 80s sound very lackluster, sterile and borderline amateurish in comparison. (I know some were done that way intentionally but I think that was a poor choice)
