The Contrarian is at least able to recognize when he messed up (knife out the window lol), he's not as one-track mind as some of the other voices and has more to him than just that.

Paranoid can negate the instant death and mental attacks Hunted can help you dodge and survive through anything Stubborn will make sure you get up after any beating. His only downside is that he wants to fight the Princess forever

Skeptic pokes holes within the Narrator's fabrication and recognizes the Prisonner's plan. Smitted is able to reach to the Thorn and free her from her torments. Cold protects you from the trauma of the Nightmare incessant reboots. Cheated knows not to trust the Razor for a single second. Even the Opportunist ultimately tries to protect you from the Witch betrayal, even if he's advices only make it worse. Really, the only voices that don't work in your interest are the Contrarian (but he is funny) and the Broken that actively makes it harder for you by surrendering to the Tower.

@mlgtacosforbreakfast well I assume it's more so to focus and force your body to function. So it's understandable it's not easy. But it doesn't sound like he's struggling. Just like he's "I guess I'll read the words. I don't know why though" Wish I could see footage for how you get it though. I've only ever seen the paranoid version on anyone's playthroughs

A lot of the other voices are cool, but Paranoid is extra useful. He is the one that gets us to live. He doesnt let us die. The Hero fluctuates, the stubborn just wants to fight, the smithen (or however its spelt) wants to find love, the opportunist just takes opportunities (for the better or for the worse), the cold doesnt CARE, the paranoid just wants to SURVIVE and he is so real for that

@@SeptemberStranger28 Hopefully not getting ahead of myself, I'm going to use this for an NPC's psychotic ramblings as the party tries getting information from him, before they get sucked away into his mind. They chose to side with the Royal Family who hosted them on their first mission and refused the now rogue court wizard's revolution offer, the same wizard which mentally broke the King's brother before escaping the kingdom. With no other options, the party will have to try and pry the wizard's last known location out of his head, I suppose quite literally now.

We need a, at least, 3 hours version of this.

I know he chants this to keep the body alive but why those 4 specific things? The heart makes sense because it pumps blood, and lungs because you need oxygen... but why the liver and nerves?

Possibly because the liver helps filter blood, and regulates blood clots. As for the nerves it likely is the stand-in for the brain, keeping the electric signals running/allowing you movement? (At least I think lol)
