Its shocking that you as the protagonist do feel a legitimate emotional connection to the Princess. During these final segments I was actually in tears

I usually like the cold princess more than the others. But I think the stranger princess is the best because she’s the one that explains things the most, and the one that understands the shifting mound more than others

I think is due to her being somewhat just like her. Multiple perspectives coming together ( even thought its not alot of them ) she still see how the rules work

I like how almost all of them dismiss your apology in various ways. Beast: "Don't apologize!" Nice Nightmare: I should be the one who's sorry Cold Nightmare/Prisoner/Razors: If anyone is apologizing here it should be me Adversary: You don't have to apologize (it was fun) Tower: You don't have to apologize. I hope you can forgive me. Then there are a few that implicitly accept the apology while offering some of their own Damsel:"I'm also sorry" Witch:"I'm sorry too" The other Razor: "We're even" And then there's the spectre, where she literally did nothing wrong in ch1: Spectre: "Apology accepted." Nice touch.
