When I fought him I didn't know about the ringed knight off to the left and accidentally ended up fighting both of them at once FML

Gael would have been a cool boss fight... if he didn't have too much damn health

I find him ridiculously easy... Then again i started with demon souls roughly 10 years ago, also this isnt cheesing for melee 🤦

Somehow it seemed like midir had less health than Gael to me but that’s probably because I was using slash damage but midir was way easier than Gael for me

just the right tactic for my skills

Just add some pyromancy to the mix to help dust the body.

I love how the cheese is to git gud in the first half and use poison as a melee character in the second half.

lol.. this will surely be useful on my next playthrough..

@@CrackHardy yeah 3 cus I stopped cus other games came out then every time I went back I was rusty and had to fight him

i beat him first try using paired ringed knight greatsword just using L1 3x after dodging it will always stagger him on first/second hit

That npc spams more than anyone I’ve ever seen

WHAT? I did this DLC and didn't even know there was another enemy waiting there for me :D

Cheese is fixed. After taking enough damage, he'll stop attacking and just walk around the wall.

ive tried to do this 30 times and every time he just walks out the door what is this bullshit

I just mashed his head in with the Black Knight Greatsword. Roll hit roll hit... took about 3 mins total.

I finished the Ringed City DLC in 2023. Was awesome. Ds3 base game i finished like 6 times. I wish elden ring was a bit more linear instead of having to ride Torrent around so much.

Agreed with the Witcher you’re able to forego the horse and have chance encounters all the time you only need the horse if you’re really just trying to finish a mission, I think Elden Ring should’ve went full RPG with the open world rather than dipping its toes in it because you just end up torrenting everywhere or you’re fighting groups of enemies nonstop.

Patched as of August 23rd 2020, he just walks around the wall after a short period and after taking a small bit of damage.

SONIC BOOM!

I had a hard time until I stopped trying to be cute. I was using a Dex Int build, 10+ Sellswords for bosses and 5+ Friede’s Scythe for everything else for fun. I couldn’t beat him with 45 dex 40 int so I went to Rosaria and changed myself to 85 dex. Put poison on the sellswords and beat him pretty easy

You kind of did this way harder than it needed to be and also it can also be done with more of a Pyromancy build

I know this is a cheese video , but i have 6 words for u , You cant mess with Phase 3 He is such an smart and unpredictable boss , in phase 3 he can literally chase you out of the ruins and end you , every time Its best to learn his P3 moveset to evade his attacks as he exits the building , and you make him re-enter the ruin

Why cheese him, it's so much more fun fighting him regularly, best boss in the game in my opinion

Yea just poison him with Rotten Pine Raisin for some bonus dmg if you need it. His attack pattern isn't that hard to learn.

The health is not the real problem ... His AOE attacks in the second phase are ridiculous and you have to play a game of cat and mouse with him which is not fun and annoying as hell...

It does although sometimes gael may follow u through the door just go back in and go back out like he did and when gael hits phase 2 and 3 he wont come back out if u do it right. it takes a couple of tries to do it took me 2 tries
