I play and record everything, I just don't have professionell equipment, that's why the sound is not perfect. Here's the youtube link to my new song. Not doing this for likes, so don't give me likes but I'm happy for any (ANY) kind of feedback, just in case somebody is interested:) kzread.info/dash/bejne/naWXpNCDiLbPd8o.html

Grew up in Las Vegas and was in a relationship with one of Mark's family members when this first album came out. We were all there from the very start-watched these boys become rock stars almost overnight. How exciting it was for all of us-Mark was always such a genuine, down-home local guy to me. Spent lots of time at Lake Mead on our Jet-Skis and Sea Doos right before they became the well-known guys they are today. Such a great time that was-so happy I was able to be a tiny part of it! No one was more deserving of the great success that his band has had than Mark. He is still my local hero all of these years later-so proud of those guys. YOU STILL ROCK, MARK!! Even in the Henderson KFC drive-thru. 🤘🏼 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🍗🍗🍗🍗

As a Gen X'er, Slaughter has been a favorite of mine for 32 years. ... Two condolences to send out: first, Tim Kelly, the Slaughter guitarist, he was taken much too soon, dying from a car accident in 1998 at the age of 35. And 2nd, the stunningly beautiful Becky Mullen, who is the woman in the black dress in this video. She is most noted for playing Sally The Farmer's Daughter in GLOW wrestling. She passed from Cancer in July 2020, only three days shy of turning 57. Everyone loved Becky, as classy as she was gorgeous.

+Kimberly Thibodeau actually, I just got out of a 25 year bad marriage, in the 80s I would go to concerts almost every weekend in the Chicagoland and southern Wisconsin area. I stopped going to concerts when I met my ex-wife in 1990, and now, in the 4 months that I have been divorced, I have already gone to 5 concerts, with at least 6 more scheduled. I have resolved that even though I live in the present, I will never toss the 80s aside ever again. It may be simplistic and immature, but I found were my roots lie and I will never leave them again.

And when morning comes Up all night, sleep all day Up all night, sleep all day When evening comes, I am alive I love to prowl around in the streets It's the moonlight, that controls my mind Now I've got the power to speak, yeah (Awake from dusk to dawn) Watching the city lights (Stars are shining down) They'll be shining down on you and I (And when the morning comes) And I'll hold you till the morning light Everybody sing it now Up all night, sleep all day Up all night, sleep all day That's right Driving down the boulevard, all alone The neon signs are calling your name Find me in the corner Having the time of my life You'd think you'd wanna do the same (Awake from dusk to dawn) Watching the city lights (Stars are shining down) They'll be shining down on you and I (And when the morning comes) And I'll hold you till the morning light Everybody sing it now Up all night, sleep all day Up all night, sleep all day That's right Up all night, sleep all day Come on, come on Up all night Ah, maybe we can just stay up Twenty four hours a day Yeah! (Awake from dusk to dawn) Watching the city lights (Stars are shining down) They'll be shining down on you and I (And when the morning comes) And I'll hold you till the morning light Everybody sing it now Up all night, sleep all day Up all night, sleep all day Come on, come on Up all night, sleep all day That's right Up all night, sleep all day Up all night (Land where my fathers died) (Land of the pilgrims' pride) (From every mountainside) (Let freedom ring)

Dana Strum is so underrated as a bass player. Slaughter wasn't afraid to have the bass "turned up" in their music like other bands of the time...and this anchored the rhythm of their music so well!! Dana is a legend that has been a profound influence of some of the legends of the era...including his former roommate...a young guitar player named Randy Rhoads. Dana Strum is an influential legend for every musician of an entire era of music...and fans just loved the music!!

I remember listening to this song while deployed to the Persian gulf war in 1990/91. My wife sent me a mix tape this was one of my favorites. Music really helped trying not to think about the possibility of getting killed!
