Geffen pulled the support for touring once the album passed a million sold because that meant they had turned a profit on the record and because they wanted slash back for the next guns record because axl was "ready to write".

You are right! Snakepit was closer to APFD kinda sound and rawness, which i love, and VR were more "advanced" to the actual times, more STP and closer to actual rock, not so 80's... Both are awesome though, each one on its own terms..

my favorite era of slash

I saw Snakepit around this time at Clark Bar in Chicago. Izzy walked on for encores and they did 'Bitch' by the Stones. Fucking righteous!

Con 17 años fue una de las cosas más lindas que viví tengo la remera del 95 todavía saltamos tanto que perdí la plata para volver jajja pero con una alegría hoy veo esto con mi hijo y el escucha full

@@miguelcoelho7365 Trully, most of the songs have been written by Slash and Gilby for à new GNR album. Axl found those not at the level for a GNR album. So Slash decided to build the album with his new gnr. Good to be alive, Monkey Chow, Be the ball .... so awesome !

Every vocalist that I know of that Slash has worked with, has been, in their own way, a powerhouse, even "ASSXL" (That's hard foe me to admit even though I know the results can't be argued with) but, I never understood why Eric Dover and Rod Jackson never got any accolades for their quality work and talent.

I would trade Myles Kennedy for Eric Dover in a heartbeat, as well as 2014 corperate Slash for the good ole 1995 Jack Daniels Slash. I understand that times change....until I look at Lemmy Kilmister, then I think nah...times don't change people sell out.

c'mon... if "1995 Slash" remained "Jack Daniels Slash", he would be six feet under by now. i saw him live last year with Kennedy, they were really awesome. (of course, good old times won't come back, but by today's standards, Slash and his band is still great.)

Slash's music is a fucking art and perfect for drinking and having a crazy good time! If you want to listen some Steve Vai and analyze his playing while drinking some wine lonely at home your most welcome! Slash's play was never perfect but he plays with hearth and soul and that got so many people to respect him, and his stage appearance was just awesome back in da days!! So pls shut the fuck up!

Argentos HDP, en los años 90 tuvieron grandes visitas. Nirvana, Alice in Chains con Layne, Slash's Snakepit con el álbum debut fresquito debajo del brazo (Para mí, la mejor era de Slash post GN'R). Todo por ser los narigones de Sudamérica, jaja. Suertudos. En fin. Ojalá Eric Dover hubiera seguido junto a Slash hasta el día de hoy. Es un cantante con una gran onda y con una voz espectacular. Nada que ver con el insufrible de Myles Kennedy y esa desagradable voz nasal que tiene. Mike Inez ya no tocaba con Slash pues en esa época ya había regesado a trabajar junto a AIC en lo que sería el disco homónimo de la banda --- PD: Este registro pertenece a Vía X, canal chileno de cable que aún existe. Recuerdo haber visto sólo extractos de esto en la época. Nunca completo. Se agradece la subida.

esto fue el sabado y yo fui el viernes.. o al reves...yo fui el dia que slash se mando un buen vomito cuando empezo el recital con dime store rock... jamas disfrute tanto un recital (con excepcion del primero de blind melon en niceto que estuvo a la par) y el sonido era devastador, te partia la cabeza, que buena banda esta

definitivamente esto fue el viernes... y yo fui el sabado... yo estaba en la platea a la izquierda de slash... recuerdo tener que romper la remera que era lo unico que tenia a mano para ponerme en los oidos porque te mataba... de la onda expansiva de los parlantes te soplaba los jeans y los caballeros de la quema no tocaban avanti morocha en ese entonces, eran una banda de rock despues estuvieron los callejeros de la quema pero eso es otra historia
