i think those 80 songs were songs that were back during the first album, cause slash states in his book that axl never sang at all from 94-96 during their jam sessions with the exceptions of sympathy for the devil.

Watching him talk about Guns N' Roses here is pretty depressing....

there is no way they had 80 songs. slash left in 96!
