Slash met Rory Gallagher in the middle of appetite era. And had a jam. Personally dont see Rory Gallagher in this song even though im a big fan of both Slash amd Rory. This song is like heavy rolling stones with aerosmith feel in my opinion. Just my opinion. And yes, i can name ten songs by rory gallagher which aint Cradle Rock or Moonchild.

ha..ha... i feel so alive in my damn life...

that riff is a rip off of rory gallgher's song (his band called taste) called what's going on. i know slash said this song was inspired by rory but it sounds like a rip off, only played with more speed. rory also used this riff on sleep on a clothes line song.

its not a rip off, the words rip off are used too much, apparantly if a few notes are similar your ripping off a band same thing happend with a7x and metallica

Yngwie Malmsteen's stuff is mostly ''ripped off'' by Bach or Paganini.Paul Gilbert ripped off EVH,Yngwie & Akira Takasaki.John Petrucci ''stole'' from Steve Morse & David Gilmour.90% of SRV's licks are straight up from A.King,T-Bone Walker & Buddy Guy.Even back in the age of Barock music,one composer ''stole'' from previous.Even this whole modern Djent stuff is just polyrythmical Jazz with downtuned 7/8-string guitars.

well theres 7 notes on aguitar 11 if you count sharps/flats, so unless your really creative its hard to make a riff nowadays without it sounding like someone else

All of British Rock is a rip off of American Blues greats...See what I did there? It's not true. What you said is not true as well. Riffs and licks are used and re-used all the time in these musical forms and it's alright.
