That bodyguard gave up his body. That had to hurt when he landed but he saved Slash from a brutal hit that likely would have injured his guitar even worse. That would have sucked. ;-)

This same thing happened to me when I was on stage rocking the house, singing lead and playing lead guitar. After the attack, I felt dizzy. I heard a distant voice... it started to get louder and I opened my eyes and my mom was yelling "wake up boy, you're going to be late for your job at Waffle House!"

That was the worst part of his show was that awful squibly squably noisey guitar solo. Everyone in the arena where I was were looking at each other like when is this noise gonna end honestly. It spoiled a great song rocket queen. By the time the solo was over u had forgotten what song he started. He could have played 2 more GNR songs instead of it.

I assume there were barriers there and those are steal.. seriously the security I hope got a tip at the end of the show.. he may have saved the show. We don’t know what would have happened if that guy actually attacked Slask. The security was the hero for sure. I seriously hope the promoters and band gave him a big bonus. If that show has to shut down the woods have lost hundreds of thousands . I hope the people making all the money did more than just saying thanks man here’s ur $200 for the days pay while they all are all going to make bank deposits.

Thor Gram did you notice though the tone difference between his first guitar before the attack and the difference in the tone in the second guitar? The tone was slightly different. The fabulous thing about it was, that while he was switching guitars out he didn't miss a Beat!

This was actually at a guitar center, it was the largest venue they could fill with Myles Kennedy. That was the manager of the Guitar Center, Slash went over his 8 minute limit.
