Nice review. Just fyi. "D4" prob means dual 4 ohm voice coils. = 2 ohm or 8 ohm.

Yea that’s y I wanted the 2 ohm to wire to 1. It was wired down to 2ohms in the video

When using a small box for a large sub it's always good to invert the sub for cooling and to get the extra air space from sub displacement

Thats a TI brand basket u need to become extremely familiar with the v1 and v2 basket its widely used across brands and is one of the best designs ever made.

Got 2 15s on a slapz audio half bridge 8k,it's nasty

Hey my friend will you please measure the size of the magnet on this sub? I know its 270oz triple stack but how big is the magnet across. Just comparing this sub to others similar to it like my Avater stu or skar vxf or savard H.O. and so many others. It will give me an idea of how much the mags weigh in my stu since they are not anywhere to find. Thank you man. Great video once again.

I like to looses up all subwoofers spiders before filming so it can hits harder being looser than stiffer.

@@Zachecker Test it and see so you can quit wasting your time. Let me explain where the whole break in thing came from. All subs loosen up over time with normal use and you may gain a tiny bit of DB afterwards, but not much. For easy math let's call it 0.25db. With one sub, nobody will ever hear that difference. However, if you have 10 subwoofers going for SPL numbers, they typically want to know the final specs for a subwoofer after it's loosened up so they can build the box to some exact specification they believe will maximize the audio level of that sub because any increase is multiplied by a factor of 10 subs where that 0.25db gain is now 2.5db. 3db is considered the starting point of hearing a real difference in sound level. That's all break in is for, to speed up the loosening process so get the final specs. It really serves absolutely no purpose for general music builds. But that 2.5db can be the difference between hitting 148 or joining the 150 spl club.
