I am so impressed with the intelligence of these judges in this match. I couldn't applaud them enough for the wise decision making they made in this match. I am torn between liking these kinds of slap matches because of the damage it can cause without a person being able to defend themselves by pulling away or ducking... so that makes this whole thing a little stupid in my honest opinion but here, in this match, the judges made such highly wise choices that it makes it so much safer than if a bunch of clowns were allowed to officiate this match and allow a man to be killed or maimed. Still torn between the good and bad and much respect goes out to those judges for calling it off after allowing Lang to have one last chance to prevail.

This is a ridiculous game. Forcing the competitors to stand a certain way and deliver the slap in a certain way takes any possible athleticism and and artistry out of the contest. And despite the attempt to control everything, the slappee moves his head at impact to control where the slap lands. A machine to measure slaps is the best way to discover who's stronger.
