im going to have to disagree with you firstly : ability wars is not inspired uniquely by slap battles, it is rather both being inspired by each other simultaneously, hence no need for credit secondly : this game is simply harder than slap battles, if you cannot be patient and train yourself to get better at it and learn every thing about it, please refrain from making offensive comments towards the game, I would not like to hear someone that played the game for 1 day saying its slap battles but worse thirdly : the game has many more secrets and hidden Easter eggs making the game fun and interesting, although most people don't stick around long enough to discover them fourthly : the abilities are fairly balanced, except for a few, the game mostly depends on your melee skill, mostly being the key word fifthly : the game is not of low quality, it is simply retro, if checken would have wanted, im pretty sure it could have been much "higher quality"

The abilities in ability wars are a lot more fun to use than slap battles and the taking damage mechanic makes it miles above slap battles.

2:17 ability wars have 3 different maps and the map vote appears every 1h

PLEASE READ!!11!!11 I play both games, I played ability wars before slap battles I started with slap battles 1 month and 2 weeks ago I have 230k punches in ability wars and 23k slaps in Slap battles right now and I have every badge glove except rob and bob, joust and slap royale badges, and I don't have event gloves. In my opinion I like ability wars more because I played it before slap battles, and I just like the style. I do think that they both copy each other lol💀. pls don't start a war about this

the time bubble event that happened isnt from a god punch, its from a time user.

He just doesn't know the feeling of Alchemist when you get a bunch of long arm potions and drink them or getting speed potions to become sonic or the feeling of making fun stuff with engineer

god punch dosent have the same ability as gods hand, god punch's ability is a nuke that instakills everyone in a radius after a lengthy windup, that timestop was from a time user

ability wars wasn't inspired while ability wars was in development tencell aka a friend of checken though it was a cool game concept so he created slap battles this proves that even if something is more popular is doesn't mean its the original

Than why did checken out up a board in the game like a year ago, and it said “inspired by slap battles” and tencell would start hating it because it’s not official. But he stopped because now it is. (Also I’m a ability wars player)

As an experienced AW player I find the community there better and less toxic, if there is a toxic server it’s best to find another

btw god punch DO NOT share the same ability with god's hand, the ability that you thought was god punch's ability was time, which is a nerfed verison of god's hand's time stop where it only stops time in a small area, when it was first added it did time stop the entire server, time's q is like recall's e, god punch's actual ability is a nuke basically, btw god punch isn't the only p2w ability because custom was released a day ago(as of typing this) you must've been playing this before the actual update, AW custom is what most people expected SB custom to be btw

@Tartar5 Try it for yourself. I quit Slap Battles as the updates just got worse. I switched to AW as I could build cars, and other funny shenanigans. (If you do, try achlemist stacking. The ability came before slap battle’s btw)

Both Slap Battles and Ability Wars are amazing games, in my opinion I just like Gravity Breaker's art more. Edit: Also Slap Battles is made of memes which makes it funny

The team battles is bugged rn, thats why it never loads There is also map rotation, it happens liek every hour but theres 3 maps: classic, reimagined and desert The boss is made to be only killed by punches, the reason is that if you kill it you get an OP trophy In the past, there was a sign that said "inspired on slap battles" but roblox took it down

It's the music that plays in the ability wars lobby, go look at their ost and you should find it

Ability wars is a great game and has many positives and negatives to sb. AW had the better combat making it more competitive, but slap battles is just goofy both are similar yet different which make them both good games

ability wars is a nice game, i dont understand why so many people hate on it

Lowkey I love slap battles and even bought some game passes on it and when I first played ability wars I thought it was bad but when I started playing the game more and trying actually it was the most fun I had it’s better than slap battles in my opinion because there is a lot to do and the grinding it wayyyy easier than slap battles AND on top of that tencell does have credit than most players can’t find because he has a admin ability than when he hits people he can’t tp them to his game, so do more research before giving your opinion

I just played slap battles and tbh I think I still love ability wars more than slap IDK WHY ITS JUSY SO FUN TELEPORTING

I played both games (now I'm mainly playing AW) And everything this guy said is mostly true. But in some points AW is better than SB. (Like better maps, more original abilities etc). And the main issue of the game is very bad balance. (Especially because of DOS. ) Overall it's good alternative game to play if you are bored of SB. (At least give it a try)

im sorry but dos is pretty damn balanced, it REALLY hard to get 15 kills without being targetted, if you somehow manage to get it, trust me, the whole server will try to take you down, so it is pretty damn balanced

@@vystema yes and no at the same time. If user is just average player ofc it's gonna be balanced. But if someone who is playing with dos 24/7 it's gonna be broken as hell. And I almost never see "whole" server targeting dos, most of the time it's just 1-3 people. Also it kinda depends on server. (Most of the time it's filled with noobs who are just free souls for dos)

Bruh, dos is NOT a copy. Many games ueds concept of killing gets you stronger so by ur logic sb copied the idea too. The phases are unique and its not a copy.

Tbh ability wars combat mechanic is better than slap battles, in slap battles when you slap someone and they ragdoll, they can still slap you if they spam m1, so it's almost impossible to combo and annoying asf

I guess my one gripe with this game is the hitboxes

I do play this game a lot once in awhile but other than that I don't play it often

Exist slap battles ADM ability, It to you tô slap battles, and the creators ARE friends

Both games stole stuff from each other and DOS is older than kill streak so dont get mad

Slap battles has: More hackers 1 map to fight in Impossible badges Some toxic community An item to attack which could accidently be uniquiped Too many one shots And you might think slap battles is better. But slap battles is also kinda decent. In this video. I felt like you said mainly the not so good things about ability wars. Like calling the boss fights janky. Would you rather have a slightly janky boss fight or eternal bob that has 1000% chance at killing you at least 500 times? Focus on the good things in the game instead. And all you other people. Stop calling ability wars a copy of slap battles. And dont say things like "its too related to slap battles its not better" because relating a punching game with LOTS more variety in maps than a slapping game with a floating island? Makes no sense. But its your opinion. Just dont relate it to something basicly the same...ish. Grilled cheese 🧀

Btw if you get all badges in slap battles (like me) it will become super boring, you wont even join when theres an update, but it doesnt actually works on ability wars, because the updates are monthly, they are big, not annoying and not boring, so ability wars better

"poor balancing" the game is 1000 times more balanced then whatever slap battles has going on
